So I was lurking Kaya's twitter and apparently she hasn't been in much, so I think it's pretty safe to assume her episode is later on. Same with Pandora's. I like how they're saving the good stuff for last. On the one hand it's great but on the other hand there's still a lot of unresolved business so i'm getting the impression it's going to be left unresolved or it's going to be dragged on even longer and they'll resolve it later on. She also posted something about planning a trip to Bristol soon. Maybe she'll see Lisa?

Yeah. She's right now visiting family but I'm not sure if they're actually filming right now since even though she's not in every scene of the series, she's in every ep.

I don´t think they´re filming if Kaya isn´t on the set. After all even if Skins isn´t supposed to be that way Effy is the main character.

They are filming, they've already done one episode and they are filming another this week and next. Kaya have been in at least one scene of the episode they filmed a couple of weeks ago because Merv had a pic of her on set.

I still think Effy's episode is ep 1, but they don't film that till the 24th of august, so right now it just seems she isn't in 2 of the other first 4 episodes much.

Doubtful. There's only 8 episodes. No way would they have half of the episodes extremely Effy-lite.

Well I know she wasn't in the episode much they filmed a couple of weeks ago because Kaya said so on twitter. She wasn't onset today, but she may just not have been needed for whichever scene they were filming, I guess it doesn't mean she's not in this episode more.

I wouldn't be surprised if S4 does have less Effy, there's only 8 episodes and the other characters have been promised bigger parts so the ones who had a lot last series (the triangle) will have to have less to fit it all in.

Exactly. The show pretty much revolves around her...it'd be like s1/2 not having Tony/Nick around. IDK how the schedule tbh but I doubt they've started filming already. I didn't see the post Kaya had about filming on her twitter.

Just because others have been promised bigger roles during the season doesn't mean Kaya's not on the set filming. She would still be needed for some scenes and usually, they'll have them on set waiting to film their scene so while she may wait a while, she's still on set. She hasn't been anywhere near the set in the past few days.

They have started filming they started filming on the 25th of July. And are currently filming a second episode.

They had a week off last week so no-one was onset. They are definitely filming this week as E4 are getting interviews onset tomorrow and thursday.

I still think Effy's screentime will be slightly less in S4.

IA with you guys. There's no way. Putting aside the fact that Effy is the lead character, she's one of the most popular characters on her own, it was only when she was inducted into the triangle of doom her character's popularity decreased. I think if she ditches the boys or if they finally resolve the triangle it'll go back up again. I think if her screentime is reduced it'll be in the most minimal way. It's not like because they promised more of the secondary characters they're suddenly going to overtake the others. Let's be real, this is Skins. Sure we saw more of Maxxie, Jal etc... in S2 in comparison to S1, but still Cassie, Tony were still a huge part of S2.
