I have such love for Cassie and Hannah. It's hard to pick a favorite Skins character, but she always seems to pop into my head first. She's so beautiful and she doesn't even know it.

She's my favorite too, since the first episode. I miss her. I liked season three alright, but I found myself missing Cassie a lot.

There's just something about Cassie that is so irresistable! I mean, I have known a few people that dislike her, but I can't help but love her. Her smile is so contagious and I love that she is so conflicted between caring for people and caring for herself. She has compassion, but she is so afraid of losing what she has, that she hurts the people around her so as to convince herself that she's not lost anything at all if/when someone leaves. To Cassie it is better to have nothing to have something. And the gang, Chris, in particular, understood this. They were a truely unbreakable family.

I have met a couple of people who didn't love her either, and I always found that strange. They would comment on how annoying and self absorbed she was but it was like they were missing the point. As to why she was like that.

Yep, that's pretty much the response I get. And I'm the queen of hating self absorbed characters. For some reason, I feel like Cassie is an exception. How can she care about anyone else when she can't even care for herself? I mean, it's not like she's being selfish because she's spoiled or a brat. She's that way because she's mentally unstable.

WORD. I get chills everytime she bites into the apple. You know the only time we ever see her eat on the show is 105 right before kills herself. It was like her worst fear: she'd lost everything she'd tried to avoid losing. She ran away so she wouldn't have anything to lose and there she was sitting in bed and she'd lost someone else. I felt like it all hit her at once. And as soon she takes a bite into that apple and piano picks up...

I like the song on teh DVDs too, but nothing compares to Adele. That song is just haunting.
