no, its really dark. The lighting is just like that. I think it was probably a statement though on his life, so he wanted it like that.

true, but there was a murky quality to it. I pretty much loved everything about Ed's part, the accent, his delivery, the costumes, except how short he was in it.

the only LONG movie i never minded watching was Kenneth Branagh's hamlet, it had an intermission.
