I just wish I could have done more. School is killing me this semester. I sent notes to Sharon, Dawn, and Kay on Facebook to let them know we're closing. Hopefully they'll stop in to say goodbye. __________________

I feel like I should've posted more here too. It's just hard when there's so much more other stuff going on not only other fandoms but real life too. But looking back I remember a lot of good times here. ESPECIALLY during those CB days. We had some rough ones and this was where we were all able to vent and be there for each other. It's gonna suck but at least we all got to be a part of it and we can still find each other thanks to other social media sites.

It's just hard to let go of something that I spent so much time and energy on. How many years did I mod this board? Four, I think? Gosh, so many hours of crying and flailing and thudding with you girls. Years I wouldn't trade for anything.

And I'm still a student.  Longest college career ever.  Reading my farewell message still makes me cry. That was such a tough decision for me. I refused to lose you girls then and I refuse to now. We're going to have to move to the Celebrities board.  Even if the color hurts my eyes.__________________

Seriously you all were the best mods! I'm not being biased either. I've been a part of other boards on here and you all were the best. I may not have been as active on this board as I was on the GG board but even so I think you all did an amazing job.
And I was starting college when I first became really active on these GG boards. I've been a part of this forum for almost 10 years now and a good part of those years were spent on here and the GG board. Crazy when I look back at those threads and the memories and everything. I'd be lying if I said this board wasn't a part of my life at some point. |
