The end of a story can be heartbreaking, but it opens the door for a new adventure to begin;
My cherished Ed Family:
This is exactly what you think it is and yes, it has been a long time coming. You've no idea how hard this decision was, or how long I've been trying to talk myself into writing this. My heart is completely shattered, but I know that this is something I have to do. I've been a "keeper of Ed" since the first permanent moderator announcement was posted and it has been my extreme privilege to be a part of this place. It's been four years and five months since the day my world began to revolve around this board... It's a blur of the highs and lows of loving a show and a couple and an incredible actor that will be indelibly imprinted in my mind for eternity. Years that I wouldn't change for the world. There is no limit to the love I have for everyone who has passed through this board, from those who have been here from the start, to those who have left us, to those who are just now joining, and it's you that's kept me here for as long as I've held on. I've submitted my moderator resignation. After so long as a mod, I'm having trouble imagining what it will be like to be a normal poster, but I just can't be selfish anymore. I need to let go and give this lovely community of people at Ed's board, my family, a chance to have an amazing moderator with all the time to invest in this place that it deserves. Working full time, I just can't dedicate the time that I want to give anymore. I served with two amazing co-mods, two wonderful friends that I will never forget, and I will love forever. Isa, my darling, you are the most generous person with the most beautiful heart. No matter how often I had to disappear, you never complained and I am so very grateful that you were my other half for so long. You'll never know how much it meant to have you by my side. I know that your next co-mod will cherish you as well, but remember... I was your first.  You haven't seen the last of me; I am going to stay on until they find the next "me" and I will be watching this final season of GG, so I'll definitely be on the episode threads. I'm also hoping that by lowering my stress load, moving closer to work, stepping down here, I will find time to write and maybe locate that spark inside me again that made me yearn to be here. And then you'll be sick of me.  I love you all. -Beth __________________

Beth, Im in tears right now. You were an amazing mod and have been so important to the board. Im just glad we arent saying goodbye but Im sad by this news bb, but also happy for you to get what you need in order. Aww but you are one of the best mods on this whole place
