Frederick: Gossip Girl. Give it up! Is there any hope for Chuck and Blair? I'm getting really depressed with what I've seen for the new season.

I know you Chair fans have been in a funk since May, when Chuck the B******* did you know what with you know who (for shame!), but I finally have a ray of hope to offer...I can tell you exclusively that Chuck and Blair will have, um, relations, of the bom-chicka-bow-wow kind during the upcoming season. At least, that's what my sources are saying. Whether they will actually get back together, well…that I cannot say, sorry. But still, that's a pretty major reason to keep tuning in, right?

Ryan in New York: Gossip Girl, please! What is up with Chuck and Blair? And when will we know why Juliet is tormenting Serena?

So much hate to spew, so little time...Chuck and Blair are all about hate sex for the next little while. Lots of hate sex, so put the kiddies to bed, y'all! As for Juliet, we'll learn that her brother is connected to Serena's past (like, past, as in before we even met her on the show). He got thoroughly screwed over by Team Van Der Woodsen (that's my understanding anyway), and Juliet is helping her brother seek revenge.

Tammy: Please give us some Chair spoilers for the second half of the season!
Well, file this under bad news. Jessica Szohr tells us someone new is coming to Gossip Girl…again. "We have another guest star coming on, which is amazing," she says. "She starts to date Chuck Bass, which is exciting because everyone always wants Chuck and Blair together. This someone throws a little loop in their relationship—or throws everyone, actually." Another loop for Chuck and Blair? How do we feel about this, Chairsters?

Im glad people are here now as I just read the Blair Baby specualtion thread at GGfanss forum and they were all speculating that maybe Dan and Blair would have a baby or Dan would step in as the father of Blairs love child with Chuck and help raise him and it seriously depressed me and killed my mood

I cant think of anything more awful to happen to CB or Chuck....so come on guys cheer me up

Lovely Pollock! That sounds like a nice CB fanfic. You know that will never happen. The story the writers are telling with GG is to a large extend a CB love story. They will have obsticles and hard times but IT IS the story they wanna tell. Dan already had the baby storyline and Milo is bound to come back so I can´t see them doing anymore of that with him. The obsticles for CB over the years has always been internal. They are never caused by external things and I doubt they will start now. All the loops they have jumped thrue and will jump thrue in the future is always drawn back from their own issues and insecuritys. Therfore we will never see them cheat on eachother, never actively choose someone else over the other and I highly doubt we will see them create a family with anyone else. Their journey is an internal journey and THAT is what makes them so different from other tv couples, one of a kind. I finish with a quote from SS:

"We really feel like those guys are made for eachother. But it´s not going to be an easy ride because of their personalities and their dynamic. It´s our job to throw some good obsticles in their path, but we always root for them to find their way back to eachother"

Aw, I wouldn't worry too much about specs like that. Why would Blair allow Dan to step in to raise Chuck's child, especially after 4x09? For that to happen, Chuck would have to do something enormously awful, something that would top 3x17, that would make her not trust him/want him raising their child.

When you feel down, just read Angela's awesome post from a couple of weeks back. It always cheers me up

That sounds like some OTT speculation to me. There is no way Blair would allow Dan to raise Chuck's child, if she did and didn't tell Chuck the baby was his I would lose all respect for her. No I think Blair would recognise the fact that Chuck would want to know and raise his own Child, both of them would. Neither of them had the best upbringing. And Chuck had to deal with the realisation that even his own mother didnt want him last year, he wouldn't do that to his own kid.

I fully believe a CB baby would bring the couple back together once and for all. Something I think none CB fans need to remember is CB didn't break up because they stopped loving one another, they broke up because they needed to grow apart before they could grow together.
