On the road to “happily ever after,” Blair (Leighton Meester) finds herself torn between the men in her life. I don’t know how she’ll choose, but I do know that easier choices have been made by entire branches of the U.S. government. Kidding. But in all seriousness, there is definitely drama to be had, and I hear there’s more than you can handle in the two-part finale, which takes place over one event-filled night in the Gossip-verse (but airs over two weeks for us).

It is a gross misconception that CBers ship
the couple in their current state- they don’t.
They ship them for the potential they have
to be great once they find their way
back from the dark place they fell into.
As Safran said….
”its always dark before the dawn”.
They want to see CB rise from the ashes and grow from the dark place.

That interview actually made me feel better, I have to admit.

Although I question whether that scene really played out exactly as he'd intended. I somewhat blame the direction for that.

to me it felt like she was scared, so if JS 2.0 and Leight didn't want it to be like that, they failed really bad

Who was directing this episode? Maybe they should have used different camera angles or something

Not surprised about bad direction. In additon to not liking Leila Gerstein's writing, I also don't like Andrew McCartney's directing. Surprise surprise, they're both responsible for this episode.
