The just-released location photo above means that hot little kitty is debagged, and my sources confirm what your eyes are seeing: Gossip Girl's newest (old) hookup is Blair (Leighton Meester) and Nate (Chace Crawford). Gasp! What does this mean for the epic romance that is Blair and Chuck (Ed Westwick)? And why the frak are Nate and Blair back to nooky anyway? I've got the exclusive scoop... Sources tell me that unlike Blair and Chuck's deep adversarial passion, the renewed Blair and Nate coupling is about familiarity and comfort. According to one insider, "Blair and Nate are both at a crossroads. Blair has to accept she isn't going to Yale. Nate is being sucked into his family's expectations, and they are both there for each other and enjoy the familiarity. At first it's platonic, but, of course, that doesn't last long." Blate. Blah. Still, don't worry, Bluck fans. Even though Nate and Blair are playing tonsil hockey for the time being, I have it on good authority that Blair and Chuck have not been forgotten. For that matter, Gossip Girl boss Josh Schwartz just told the Chicago Tribune's wonderful Mo Ryan, "We get that that [relationship] works for people." | Good girl.  Anyway, bringing this over from the other thread: (Why am I always writing at the end of dead threads?  )I'm actually starting to love the thought of Humph der Bass.  It's basically an improved version of Van der Bass. Van der Bass/Humphrey loft 2.0 lol. We get to keep CS, CE and CL and on top of that gets the epic awesomnes of CD plus the intriguing awkwardness of CJ (how on earth are the writers going to pull that off?) paired with the possibility of some interesting CR confrontations.Basically every potential Chuck/someone combination made of win! Well, except Blair of course. (*whispers* And Vanessa.) (I don't count CN anymore...  )The potential for awesome Chuck scenes are basically endless with all these mains under the same roof. | Yeah, it's just weird because - while their is a movie called "Loose Ends," it isn't a play on anything like most other episode titles are. I feel like Loose Ends might refer more to Serena/Gabriel, and then to the aftermath of NB's break up (as in what happens to CB and NV  . | I just want to see Vanessa calmly explain to Nate that he cannot keep expecting her to be waiting for him when he himself doesn't even know what he wants. And he's all, "But I want youuuuu." And she's just like, "I wish you did." And walks away. Sad. And I need to see Nate telling Chuck how much he loves him.
