Sources tell me that unlike Blair and Chuck's deep adversarial passion, the renewed Blair and Nate coupling is about familiarity and comfort. | I just wanted to reply about this whole NV and CN both dying for the sake of the NBC triangle. While I do think this will be hard on CN, it's possible it's just one kiss, Nate truly feels bad, and also thought Chuck was over Blair. I want Chuck to be done with him, but who knows. In terms of NV, however, I don't think it has to kill them any more than it would kill CB. So long as Nate's not cheating, I don't see the problem. I mean, if Nate and Vanessa break up over family problems but still clearly care for each other... Why can't Nate be seeking just as much comfort in Blair as she's seeking in him? What I want is for Nate's family to either strike a deal with Vanessa or make it very clear to her that if Nate stays with her, they will make him very unhappy (kind of like her sacrifice in 2.03). So I'd want Vanessa to leave him, saying she just can't deal with his family or whatever (and maybe she also has a pregnancy scare, which I would love). Then Nate is sad and confused. Meanwhile, Blair is sad and confused. They are hanging out a lot, like being around each other, think about how easy their relationship was before Serena, Chuck, and all the drama entered into it. | I'm waiting to see before judging anything But I do believe the biggest reason for this story is to bring back CB I'm sure it will be clear through all of this that the guy she really loves and wants to be with is C as much as things were easier with them before, I don't think that's what she really wants. | The title  TFTNT  I see what you're saying Tati, and IA so long as Nate is clear about not having actual feelings for Blair. However so far every time he has had a hook up with anyone cept for Jordan he has had his version of 'deep feelings' and I'm scared with B it's gonna be the same thing. and while IA about the situation being really about NB being sad and confused JS and SS don't like to close doors and might very well keep NB's relationship vague. and as for CN, I honestly just want Chuck to have an actual friend. And right now Vanessa is the only one suitable for that position. I totally prefer a CV friendship to NC. __________________ World Cup 2010 Españaღ

| If Nate actually acts like he has deep feelings for Blair and does not in any indicate that he is upset over Vanessa, I agree that I will be done with him as a love interest for her. However, this is different from the others: Catherine was months after he and V had broken up, and so was Jenny. He's a teenage boy and I allow that he can develop crushes in the interim period. But this is only going to be at most an episode after his break up with Vanessa, and it will be with someone he has to know is in love with his best friend, you know? I just don't see how they can have Nate really delude himself here. I just hope they do it in a way that leaves him with the shred of dignity his character has accumulating since 2.11. And word - Vanessa is a much better friend for Chuck than Nate is. | I was just upset that in 2.09, he seemed to not feel bad at all for Vanessa But you're right, it's not long after his break-up with V so that's why I don't see Nate having feelings for Blair. I think it's just about comfort and it will be obvious who they really want to be with But I just can't like Nate as a good friend for Chuck anymore I'm just looking for some more CD now __________________ [When you meet the right person, you know it.
