I don’t know how she’ll choose, but I do know that easier choices have been made by entire branches of the U.S. government. Kidding. But in all seriousness, there is definitely drama to be had, and I hear there’s more than you can handle in the two-part finale, which takes place over one event-filled night in the Gossip-verse (but airs over two weeks for us).

And what about Chuck? Josh [Safran] explains that the theme of this season, for everyone, is “growing up”. “They are all actually taking the first steps to who they are going to be,” says Josh. “Chuck’s journey, even though it looks like he’s a thrill-seeker [in the premiere], that opens the door to a new avenue for him, a new way of life, which isn’t what you’ve seen yet. But I think people will really like it. I think it’s the only actual step in the evolution of Chuck.”

Brendahere: Gossip Girl please! Louis is the worst. Please tell me there is hope that she’ll ditch him for Dan? Or Chuck? I don’t even care which one!
There is more than hope, my friend! I can tell you there will be a pretty epic scene involving Dan and Blair in one of the upcoming episodes that shows he’s still very much an important part of her life. And there will be a Blair and Louis scene that shows
Chuck may be even more important to Blair than anyone.

the couple in their current state- they don’t.
They ship them for the potential they have
to be great once they find their way
back from the dark place they fell into.
As Safran said….

They want to see CB rise from the ashes and grow from the dark place.

hmmm. We'll see the real Charlie Rhodes and Kristen Bell being Gossip Girl(s), working and being awesome in some underground office somewhere on the UES. Or at least that's what I hope will happen. Am I the only one who really want to see some strong female characters who are not completely crazy (yes Georgina and God-loving season 5 Blair, I'm looking at you!)?

eta: I wonder if I'll watch the episode without fast forwarding. The last three episodes have only been like 30 minutes long in total for me

...and that's after having watched every single minute of every single episode since the pilot aired.

I think they will reveal GG , TBH,next season is the last season, So i would only make sense to at some point reveal her. If she is going to be owrking with Nate and Serena its only logical!

but it would make more sense to reveal her on the season finale... not halfway through it
So the last season has the reasons people fell in love with GG and be about Gossip Girl aftects their lives and
- Serena and Blair's relationshsip after Dan came between them
- Blair REALLY trying to become a powerful woman
- GG out to get Serena and Nate/ NJBC+ Dan /the person who knows her identity
- NJBC + Dan mega scheme trying to take GG down.

and romantic relationships on the background
- Rebuilting DS after the Blair drama
- Chuck and Blair's rebuilt relationship... taking the ''next step'' etc
- Whatever gets between Ivy/Nate

That's why it's shocking, SS said that people would wonder WHY they were doing that NOW, there's nothing more gasp worthy than that.

I think GG is Real Charlie and she started the blog because Nate blew her off and because she was jealous of Serena.

I agree with all this. They need to do it all tbh. DB are screwed in the long run and I think Safran kinda knows that. I mean if DB happen this season even for a short time it will do some damage to SB after Blair pushes Serena to tell Dan how she feels. That is something Serena will not take lightly. I just hope Safran sticks to his word about next season mainly being about the SB friendship. This season was supposed to be fun and light though so I am not taking his word on it.

I highly doubt that, they have worked so hard to 1keep the last 10 minutes a seceret.

I have to agree, as much as I want GG to revealed this season it wont be until the end of this season or next season. I wouldnt be suprised though if she wasnt included in some part of the S5 cliffhanger.

EW reported that GG would be revealed. Now it may be a red herring, but that was someone who screened the episode.
