I’m really rooting for Chuck and Blair to get back together eventually. Can you tell us if the last five episodes have some drama for them? — Leslie I don’t know how she’ll choose, but I do know that easier choices have been made by entire branches of the U.S. government. Kidding. But in all seriousness, there is definitely drama to be had, and I hear there’s more than you can handle in the two-part finale, which takes place over one event-filled night in the Gossip-verse (but airs over two weeks for us). And what about Chuck? Josh [Safran] explains that the theme of this season, for everyone, is “growing up”. “They are all actually taking the first steps to who they are going to be,” says Josh. “Chuck’s journey, even though it looks like he’s a thrill-seeker [in the premiere], that opens the door to a new avenue for him, a new way of life, which isn’t what you’ve seen yet. But I think people will really like it. I think it’s the only actual step in the evolution of Chuck.” Brendahere: Gossip Girl please! Louis is the worst. Please tell me there is hope that she’ll ditch him for Dan? Or Chuck? I don’t even care which one! There is more than hope, my friend! I can tell you there will be a pretty epic scene involving Dan and Blair in one of the upcoming episodes that shows he’s still very much an important part of her life. And there will be a Blair and Louis scene that shows Chuck may be even more important to Blair than anyone. :: SET PICTURES :: It is a gross misconception that CBers ship the couple in their current state- they don’t. They ship them for the potential they have to be great once they find their way back from the dark place they fell into. As Safran said…. ”its always dark before the dawn”. | TFTNT  I dont know when CB are going to reunite. I still think they will drag it out until the very end of the series. That seems more their MO. But with Ed saying this season that Chuck is not giving up then wont the end of this season have to be a resolution to that. And really Chuck has already let Blair go 54748976 times. | Tftnt!  I don't think he's saying (not speaking for him or anything, just saying how I interpreted it lol) that Chuck has to get over her, but that he should just let her go because...well she is getting married. I think in real life most guys would let go once it gets that far lol. It's funny because Chuck was trying to let Blair go, but after what she told him in the car, he has no reason to not want to fight for her. I know as a viewer why she isn't being with Chuck, so seeing him fight for her is something that I'll enjoy. But like I said a while back, maybe the writers feel that Chuck has to go through this because of the mistakes he's made in the past. Blair is about to marry another guy after telling Chuck that she can't wait to spend the rest of her life with him, and from the looks of it she's not going to have any explanation for her "change of heart". Typically, Chuck must feel so played with, but since he knows Blair so well I think he will sense there's more to it.* I like the interview though.
