Blair Waldorf needs a devil redeemed, not a donut. Is there any good Chuck/Blair stuff coming up on Gossip Girl? — Janey
And your reward is such: Of course there are great Chair moments coming up! Producers have certainly heard your cries, and all I’ll say is that you should not count anyone out of the running for Blair’s heart. On that note, can everyone please give Josh Schwartz his Twitter back? Also, CONGRATULATIONS. You are the winner of this week's Best Question award for one of the best characterizations of Dan Humphrey I've ever read.

Can you tell us anything about Blair on Gossip Girl and the many men in her life? She’s got her pauper, her prince and her king — how will she ever choose?! I’m really rooting for Chuck and Blair to get back together eventually. Can you tell us if the last five episodes have some drama for them? — Leslie
I don’t know how she’ll choose, but I do know that easier choices have been made by entire branches of the U.S. government. Kidding. But in all seriousness, there is definitely drama to be had, and I hear there’s more than you can handle in the two-part finale, which takes place over one event-filled night in the Gossip-verse (but airs over two weeks for us).

And what about Chuck? Josh [Safran] explains that the theme of this season, for everyone, is “growing up”. “They are all actually taking the first steps to who they are going to be,” says Josh. “Chuck’s journey, even though it looks like he’s a thrill-seeker [in the premiere], that opens the door to a new avenue for him, a new way of life, which isn’t what you’ve seen yet. But I think people will really like it. I think it’s the only actual step in the evolution of Chuck.

It is a gross misconception that CBers ship
the couple in their current state- they don’t.
They ship them for the potential they have
to be great once they find their way
back from the dark
place they fell into.
As Safran said….
”its always dark before the dawn”.
They want to see CB rise from the ashes and grow from the dark place.

TFTNT!!

Thank you for the article Angela!

I guess the complications are "who the father is" and OMG princess to be pregnant before the wedding. Maybe the royals want to do it [the wedding] sooner but Blair wants to wait until she finds out who the father is?

'Gossip Girl' exec teases pregnancy "complications" - Gossip Girl News - TV - Digital Spy

I'm curious what kind of complications they are speaking of? Being pregnant with the love of her life's baby while engaged to another dude is certainly a big one. but I wonder if they'll do something else with Blair's pregnancy too.
Hmm maybe. I don't think it's going to be complications of the medical variety though. I think at first it's going to be about whether or not to have an abortion, whether or not to tell Louis and Chuck, whether or not to have a paternity test without telling anyone (I don't think Blair necessarily knows for sure who the father is), and even if Louis is the father whether or not to go public since being pregnant before the wedding is not exactly royal standard.

oh, and the orginal article came out a while ago and people are still speculating Dan might be the father so...

Hi there ocfangirl1416 . Feel free to posts your thoughts if you feel like it

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. The "complication" is that she's marrying one man while being pregnant by the love of her life. It fits!

Anyway, here is the article again if anyone wants to read it:

It's a very Maury moment.
Dan you are NOT the father! Chuck? Louis? We'll let you know before the first half of the season is up!

I always thought the complications at first would be pre marital baby and whose the daddy?

Dan being the father

There's no way it could be Dan's, but let people think whatever they want.

I wanna see Chuck's reaction to the pregnancy. Is he going to ask questions, see if the baby could be his? Is Blair going to lie about how far along she is?

I wonder if they'll have her really contemplate having an abortion? Remember that Blair said in 4.07 she's Pro-Choice so she at least supports the right to have an abortion (although I know alot of people who support the right to an abortion but would never have one.) Anyway, I wonder if they put that little bit of dialogue in that episode for a reason. At the same time I think the CW might shy away from something like that. I don't know.

I think this could end up being a really great storyline for Leighton and Ed to play out. Oh here I go again being hopeful. (I should slap myself. ) OK. The storyline will probably suck but I bet we get good some good scenes between Ed and Leigthton out of it. I'm certain we'll get some great scenes from Leighton at least

Isa!! I agree, those would certainly be the struggles she's gonna face.

Dan being the daddy Cannot stop laughing.

"Serena" kind of gave away the father answer in the Season 4 bloopers though

In regards to the kid, I could see there being a paternity test and the "real father" being kept from Blair. Louis will probably find out soon that Blair is pregnant. I don't think Blair would still marry Louis if she was pregnant with Chuck's kid so I think either she doesn't know or she is under the impression that the kid is Louis' kid. I could see Dan finding out Chuck is the dad before Chuck and Blair though.

It would go good with a Season 2. Dan for selfish reasons wanted to keep C/B apart even though this wasn't a game and they actually loved each other. I could see Dan wanting to keep C/B apart (knowing they were having a baby together would help them (not a cure all but they would have to talk about stuff)) but in the end he will realize that this is real life and it is wrong.

There are women who are pro-choice but under certain circumstances. I consider myself that way, like a 12 y/o pregnant because she was raped or my 15 y/o cousin who got pregnant because her parents are stupid. But I really don't want to get into that.

I do have a friend who got pregnant at 20 and she kept her baby, she wasn't filthy rich but had the support of her family and she has a well balanced life, she was a single mom for about 4 years.

I think I could accept it if that happened. It wouldn't help me like Dan completely, but at least I could see that happening and not have me all upset like other potential directions would. And I would understand B's situation if she really didn't know.

Safran said: "all of the discussions and what it means and what your options are and what you can do, all of that stuff is definitely very much in the mix." All of the options include abortion doesn't it? Or am I not taking American politics on that subject matter into account? Even if she doesn't seriously contemplate abortion I think there will be a huge amount of denial and wishing it would just go away. Just look at how she behaved last episode? She's going to cling on to the illusion it's not really happening as long as possible.

I think it's going to be very fic like, someone will ask her "Are you keeping it?" or her reading information about abortions and her deciding that she wants to keep her baby regardless of who the father is.
