| if they are filming CB 5x07 scenes then next week they'll film 5x08 scenes and we all know that they are also VERY good episodes every season 1-the erikson beamon necklace/butterflies 2- the limo dream/maybe in the future 3- "thats okay, i have you, thats all i need" 4- TONS OF HATE SEX/chuck carring blair up the stairs bridal style. __________________ | |||

| TFNT from the previous thread: At the same time I fear for JS and SS'S lack of involvement with the show, pointing out how the show went downhil after Safran tokk over. which CAN'T be a coincidence I think the fact they hired new writers show they weren't too pleased on how things were going. we know the audience hasn't been satisfied for the last 2 yrs, but last season it was impossible not to notice how the show wasn't the same anymore. It lost it's sparkle, the characteristics that JS & SS always been so fond of weren't there anymore. Humphrey wasn't an ''outsider'' anymore, which was his purpose on the show to begin with , an outsider looking in , Blair wasn't the same she was in season 1 and 2, Chuck became too serious too fast.... it was becoming impossible to root for Jenny.... so now, they might be paying a little more attention than they were last season. __________________ Now I'm told that this is life And pain is just a simple comprimise So we can get what we want out of it http://twitter.com/CB_inevitable | |||

| Bringing in new writers and a new main character (Ivy)... always a sign of writers trying to change things up. Even a pregnancy is last ditch effort at salvaging a show. The thing about GG/the writers that is hilarious to me, is that by the looks of their twitter account they get really annoyed by the couple spamming and the focus on that aspect of the show... yet that's what the writing and even their interviews cater too. IDK, I just think that if the characters were interesting enough as individuals who all added something to the show beyond who they're having sex with... it would greatly improve the 5th season. __________________ War tactics, they make me sick | |||

I really disliked how Nate was totally bored/over Blair in every single episode up to that one... then suddenly he's like "man, I really need to get back in this relationship that bored and disgusted me for 9 episodes prior." And the big reveal to Chuck's manipulations was literally Blair looking at his face. It was so cheap and lazy. She's suddenly like "I know that look on your face, you tricked Nate into thinking I was dating Carter and had them fight over me leading to Nate getting kicked out... all because you wanted to ruin my very special cotillion night!"
