HAVE to chime in on this....

I really like Mia...and all of them that are TRUE dancers have dealt with FAR more criticism in their life then Mia dishes out. Trust me!
I have yet to meet a professional choreographer who is not bitchy, loud, crazy, condescending, and mean most of the time.
Half of the auditions dancers go on are cattle calls, you walk in you say your name, they size up your body, your total look and move you on or keep you going.
If they cannot handle the harshness of Mia Michaels..they need to find a new career path.
Just giving my insight......

also Mia has commented she is moving on to a different project. She has not said what that will be.

Editing to be OT-- I have three top friends on my myspace...Eric, Mia, and Bill Murray...........and I don't know why Bill Murray is on there????????
So Eric Rocks and Mia Rocks and Bill issssssssss from Chicago????

Good morning Eric Fans

I'm more a Tyce and Alan fan personally.

I still need to find The Mandala Maker somewhere. My free time is getting less and less ans we approach the holidays though. For Eric, I'll have to make it work (shout out Tim Gunn)

Have a Steinomite day everybody

Good morning Steinmates...

Who is Tim Gunn? Am I missing something here? Is that Eric's alias?

I also love Tyce. He is amazing... I am excited for the show tonight.

Enjoy your day mates...

Right after I posted my post I almost went back to edit it "but I know Cathy is a big fan of Mia's" I remembered that you loved Mia so I'm sorry for you that you won't get to see her anymore. I think it's because you are a dancer and you understand that how she critiques is just part of it that makes you understand her better then we do. I have never danced (with the exception of 1 year of tap when I was about 6) so I only know what I like in a personality and all the other stuff I don't even consider. I actually think she will be back if not this season then next. No matter what, this season looks like it's going to be incredible!! I will miss her choreography, some of the dances she choreographed have been the most memorable!

Thanks Jen, hope your sunburn feels better. Looks like my future son-in-law, Sam Bradford(This is a joke) is out for the season. Hope you enjoyed going to the OU-Texas game. It is an experience. The Slukids and I watched it at a sports bar in St. Louis with my alumni friends.
The corn dogs at the Texas state fair are awsome. Did you get a Belgium waffle?
My love for my Oklahoma Sooners lives on. There is always next year. Like my love for Eric. Hope all is going well for him.

Cathy...I understand where you are coming from re: Mia. Her choreography gives me chills and tears. I will miss her. I also understand your viewpoint as a dancer. Our daughter's whole life was ballet, even during college and many a time when I would pick her up (when she was young) she would be in tears, although she was the teacher's favorite student. She became a better dancer because of it.

SYTYD...do the Hustle! Gosh, did we really dress like that in the 70's?

Going to Oregon Shakespeare Festival tomorrow in Ashland, Oregon. It's been so long since we made the reservations I can't remember what it is we are seeing. Looking forward to spending the night and doing a little shopping on Wed. I love Ashland!

Need to pack... subbing tomorrow, so I need to be ready to go when school is out.

Good morning fellow 70's survivors

Yes Sherron, I fear we did dress like that. In fact, Donny probably just opened the back of his closet up for the wardrobe department. lol Ah Donny, you will always have a special place in my heart. Looking forward to the MJ tribute tonight.

Hope Eric is having a Steintastic Tuesday and that all of you do as well.

Good Morning
The story about Adam (BB9) is terrible -- what was he thinking?

Morning Eric-ites

Adam's troubles are sad, infuriating and sadly not surprising. How disappointing for his family and friends and fans. Makes me glad that we have chosen to support Eric

Make it a Steintastic Hump Day.

OK, I have heard nothing about Adam. I will have to go look for the story now. I feel bad for him without even knowing what is going on.

ETA: Wow! I just read the story, unbelievable!! Somehow that is the perfect ending for the most awful BB season ever! I can't say it surprises me, when he was in the BB house he always talked about weird stuff...something tells me this isn't the first time he has dealt drugs! I just find it sad that he used his BB money for this...he couldn't find a legal business to start? I doubt he will do much jail time, he will probably turn on whoever provided him the drugs and they will do the hard time. What a waste!

Hey guys.

I have not read the story about Adam yet. But, I remember reading while he was in the house that he had been arrested for dealing drugs. So, I would not be surprised at all...
