Big Brother - Board Customization

Hi everyone,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customizing message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture suggestions or colour ideas, please post them on this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible.

Your suggestions for possible colors and pictures will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customized look possible, the final decision concerning how this board will be customized will be made by the members of the Graphics Team, because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colors fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customized.

hmm, pictures... I have no idea how that will go down. we have SO many houseguests from the past nine years, and picking certain ones wouldn't really be fair. if some HGs were to be in it, I would say the most favored All Stars. or maybe the winners... lol except alot of us hate half of the winners.

maybe a logo? and the power of veto symbol [I can't find that... anyone?].

hmm, what about Julie Chen, the host? x

as for colors, I would say a blue theme or a yellow these as they've both been the *main* color for each season. the logo's have been primarily blue or yellow.

and I like both colors and think both would fit the board.

I personally think we should vote on our favorite houseguests and put pictures ofour top 2 or 3 or something along with a picture of Julie.

lol I was thinking of that too. an accurate way to get the overall favorites, but then I was thinking it still wouldn't be fair. alot of people LOVE Eric and hate Dick from last year, but how is that fair to the people who love Dick and hate Eric if they get stuck with having a banner with people they hate. and then I was thinking about how the survivors went down, and the controversy it caused here, and figured that would just cause more problems to have a vote.

it's kind of hard for a graphic with a reality show.

at least with AI they had three main judges, we have one host.

I guess House Calls hosts could count... but ALOT of people despise Gretchen Massey, myself included, so I really don't think that would be a good idea.

eek, this may be a little hard, but I'm sure whatever the GT comes up with, it will be gorgeous.

yeah i know what you mean about controversy. I just wish there was a good way to get pictures in the graphic rather than just a logo because they always look so fabulous.

As for colors, I like the idea of a light yellow or blue

I am personally a fan of the boards with lighter colored backgrounds

yea it makes sense... especially since this show is not over and we get new houseguests every season.... if we put past houseguests, we will leave out all future houseguests.

i think the logo, JC, POV and HOH symbols would be great.
maybe also a pic of a key and the FOTH...

cass, i like the blue/yellow theme... those colors remind me of BB as well.
michaela, i like light colors as well, but i kind of associate dark blue with BB... although light blue IS nicer

what a dilemma!!! haha jk.

You could always do the cast picture from All Stars? Since they were ... All Stars. Or do the winners so far, with Julie.

Or, like has been suggested, do Chenbot, a veto symbol, an eye and other BB related things.

I think, IMO, like you guys said, it would be good if it contained any of the following: logo, POV symbol, HOH symbol, an eye, and a KEY! that's a really good idea because your key is your life in the house. you lose your key when you're evicted.

I personally think an orangish yellow color would look great for the board and really fit BB. such as in these season's logos:

honestly, I think blue and yellow can fit nicely together, and both are a good representation of the show.

IMO. something like these colors would look nice together.

kind of like these boards. x x and the old sports colors. if you look at the BB5 logo, that's kind of how I picture the board looking, I think it would be really cute. primarily blue with ALOT of yellow accent in links, the banner, etc and a little grey.

I've actually been thinking about this since before we ever had a board.

Just because I was thinking about how hard it would be to do...like picking the HGs and everything. And also the other thing with BB is we get very, very few HQ pictures and that's what you need for things like this.

Cass, I love the colors that you picked. I think those are perfect.

As for the pictures...I really do like the idea of the symbols and stuff - and JC but I just wish we could get some HGs on there. It'd be kinda boring if we didn't. I did like the idea about the voting but we all know how that would turn out, so it wouldn't work. What about Will? Does anybody not like Will?

I think it would be awesome if we could get him in the banner. Or course I'd like to put Janelle (& Kaysar/The Sovs for that matter) in the mix too because they have/had the biggest fanbase in the history of the show so I think it would be good to get them up there but unfortunately that would get shot down in two seconds.

the only reason why i think it's not a great idea is because we are gonna have quite a few seasons coming up and it's gonna be like we're neglecting those future houseguests that many of us are sure to love.
i have absolutely no opposition to having Will there, or janelle and sovs, but as we've seen, there are quite a lot of people here who really dislike janelle, so on this board, she wouldn't exactly be a fan favorite.
it's hard to choose between all the HGs because for the most part, people hate just as much as others love.
the only HG that i think causes the LEAST controversy is will LMAO.

Hence why I think that if people REALLY want HGs up there, put the group shot from All Stars up there.
