BB10 begins 3 hours from now. Here's the Launch night twist from the Channel 4 site..

The wait is nearly over. Tomorrow at 9pm live on Channel 4, Big Brother will celebrate a decade on the air with the arrival of 8 men and 8 women who each have a plan to entertain us over the summer months and leave the house victorious (and £100,000 richer).

Those entering the house could potentially spend up to 13 weeks in the Big Brother house but in true Big Brother style they won't be allowed to get too comfortable. Within minutes of them all arriving, Big Brother will reveal to viewers and those in the house that they are not yet official housemates and will not get access to the full Big Brother house.

All hopeful housemates will have to individually earn their housemate status over the next three days by completing tasks set by Big Brother. Each task has been designed to challenge the hopefuls' fears and pride and some will require them to go head to head against one another in a bid to become a bone fide housemate.

Only once the ‘hopefuls' have successfully completed a task and been granted housemate status will they be allowed access to the ‘real' Big Brother house. Until then they will only be able to access the living room (void of any creature comforts), a toilet and the garden.

Hopefuls won't get access to their suitcases and will be forced to spend their first night sleeping on the living room floor. Bathing will be a bath in the garden which can only be filled by carrying cold water in a hole-ridden bucket across the garden.

All 16 people entering the house have been in hiding for the past few weeks. All that is being revealed before the launch is that the 16 are the most diverse group yet, with hopeful housemates from a wide range of countries and backgrounds. The eldest is 40 and the youngest is 18.

Tune in tonight at 9pm to see Davina McCall reveal the identities of the new potential housemates in the Big Brother launch programme direct from the house.

What a weird bunch of people they chose

Rodrigo reminds me so much of Fez from that 70's show

Dont have a favorite yet. I'll reserve my judgment on them. Just hoping that Sophie lasts longer than a week

So far I like - Lisa, Rodrigo, Charlie and Kris
So far I really don't like - Angel and the very last guy in the blue suit whose name I've forgotten

Sophie is such a stupid blonde bimbo that she makes my brain hurt, girls like her give women a bad name. And Karly is the type of girl I usually hate, but for some reason I think she's quite alright. Benazir seems like she could be a laugh, don't mind Freddie either. Oh, and I quite like the American boy, Cairon I think it is. Sophia could be alright if someone takes her batteries out for a bit. The ones I haven't mentioned at least once in this post clearly didn't leave enough of an impression on me for me to think anything about them, haha.

But yeah, my overall favourite is Rodrigo, he is so adorable and cute and I just want to ruffle his hair.

The fake romance thing that was rumored about is true. They just said on the LF that in the rules it states that "Fake romances will not be tolerated"

The red phone rang and Lisa won the race to pick it up. BB told her that she is now a housemate and has 15 minutes to choose another person to become a real housemate. She cannot tell anyone about this though.

Yup.

Pretty boring 1st highlight show. This twist to start the show really kills all the energy they had from 1st entering the house. Cant wait until its over. Especially reading up on some of the stuff some are having to do to become real housemates.

I'm glad Angel and Siavash still aren't real hm's yet, since they're the only ones I've really taken an instant dislike to.

Faves so far are def Rodrigo and Charlie.

LMAO at Freddie and Sophie becoming Halfwit and Dogface.

A chicken probably has more brains than Sophie though, you'd have thought BB was explaining how to do brain surgery and not a simple task, given how long she took to understand.

The SAS task to become housemates was very boring to watch. The only good thing to come of it was the tension that it built between the non housemates. They didnt show it on the HL show tonight but during the LF last night, they held a talent show which was pretty good, especially Cairon, Sophie and Rodrigo and Charlie and Karly

Not really disliking anyone yet but i'm liking Rodrigo, Noirin, Sophie and Freddie.
