I think I'm going to watch the movie again this weekend. I just adore it.

What's everyone's fave storyline in the movie? Personally I loved Bridget's, but my fave was either Lena and Tibby's.

Carmen tended to bother me in the movie, I thought America was great, but the character was very bratty to me. I know she's a teen girl, but some of the stunts she pulled were just immature. I get her situation because I have a similar relationship with my own father, but watching her doing the things she did just made me roll my eyes.

i agree, but the phone call was so moving.

I love Bee in both the movie and book. I've actually been known to skip through the book to find her parts and read that first.

Carmen's phone call was touching. And I loved she threw the rock, cause her father obviously was a jerk to her! He needed a wakeup!

I know that too, I'd never do that, but it was Carmen and was definitely IN character, her temperament and so on, and I thought it was a really strong scene. ^^
