I want the events to amount to something. Over the course of 24 episodes there must be a significant change/evolution of serena. She has to become more of an adult, and I want her inner issues to come to the surface and be dealt with. I think it will be quite amazing to watch.

I dont want to see them going in circles with couples and storylines, I feel like hardly anything is different from S1 finale and the same stuff was happening over and over.

Romantic storylines shouldn't be in isolation(Aaron..), they waste the character. Somewhat stable relationships would be welcome and it can go hand in hand with Serena's self discovery and resolving family issues. Romantic storylines shouldnt have more importance than friendships. I want S to interact a lot more with Jenny and Vanessa. I think a lot of scope for great, organic storylines with them was missed in the past two seasons. S with chuck and georgie is also very welcome. S and Nate need to address their buried feelings from 2 seasons and have it materialise into romance or seek closure, so they can move on, esp Nate.

The besties will probably have more fall outs but i hope it's not over the same issues. I would be quite happy if they stay bff all season actually. It can be the one constant in the show. My fear is that sometimes their fights can cheapen the friendship for the viewer. I want to see them hanging out as friends too and having casual outings, while being there through the tough times.

I hope the Scott stuff is all about RL and they deal with it somehow, and quickly. I'm not interested in the storyline at all.

Scenes involving all the major characters are a joy to watch. I love more Hi society type of stuff. A few dramatic scenes here and there and more humor would be great because they make for killer tv, blake does magic with them. S has to remember her friends(esp the NJBC) and put their needs before her men. It's really important that they dont just pander to the majority of the viewers and take risks to bring storylines that make sense, and are hopefully innovative.

Bring back the magic of Season 1!

-Make Serena and Jenny friends.
-Get Serena some nonbitchy friends at college and keep her away from modeling/acting.
-Have Serena develop a personal passion for something other than boys and fashion.

I agree with all the bolded parts. I'm kind of over the SB frienship. Blair doesn't treat her well. She needs a better BFF.

I would love to see Serena and Jenny become better friends, but I love SB more than I do SJ. Leighton and Blake make it work so well.

SB have so much chemistry, I think they pull everything together. I want just their friendship fixed and healthier. But more SJ/SV would be lovely.

Aw. I still love S/B. I think they are the only relationship that I've truly shipped ever since the beginning of the show. It was a constant for me.

I agree with that. I love SB sooo much. They were why I started watching this show every week in the first place. I want Serena and Blair to stay close during this year. It'll be hard for both of them to transition to a new place in life and should have their lifelong BFF by their side.

Serena with a clique would be awesome. She's supposed to be an IT girl. I'm pretty sure that Blair isn't her only 'friend'.

A deep storyline involving her father. I would like the writers to truly dig deep into the history and give us reasons why he has not communicated with his family, why he has disappeared, and why he's running away from Serena.

What exactly happened in Santorini. Or was that just another mere plot device as well?

And like I mentioned before, enough with the 'Serena being mentally incapable of making smart decisions' storylines.

No more lame romances. Either give her a juicy relationship storyline with clout or keep her single for a while.

And this! S seems to get so tied up in relationships she only ever has time for them and B. Not healthy
