Yep but were gonna have to get used to; it cos we have 2 more seasons and I don't see things getting any better. I won't be surprised if Serena is turned into an escort in one of the storylines; she's already been mistaken for one so it's not that much of a stretch I guess.

The only new thing I know is that Prince Grimaldi or whatever from Paris will be back (obviously for Blair) - which further proves my point that Dair is just a tease; nothing significant will happen with them. Who knows with the Prince back we might get another Paris trip.

Did anyone actually believe it was anything more?

It's just an excuse to make SB fight. I think ben is gone in 17 since he's already been outed as part of a drug ring. I feel really bad for S. At first I was mad at her, but now he's just another guy thats disappointed.

Well they kiss - that was the cliff hanger. But in the new promo it looked like both chuck and Serena were at Blairs so they might catch them.

Plus on IMDb someone said there's paparazzi pics of L&P kissing on the street while filming GG. And it looks like B is wearing an engagement ring. Theres suspicion that the Prince is gay and ask B to marry him etc. to keep up pretenses. But she leaves him to be with dan - kind of like the end of The Graduate.

But I don't see DB going anywhere. If they do become couple I think they will be over by mid season 5. I mean wasn't Dan always nagging S about her involvement is schemes etc. So how is it possible that he cab suddenly be in relationship with someone as conniving as B.

I swear I try to get excited about GG but at this stage I'm completely numb to it. I think I may have to go cold turkey and stop watching. If the season finale is crappy - I will not be watching the next seasons, except the very last episode. I just don't give a ******* lol *kanyeshrug*

no that wasn't LP that was louis and blair. The actor who plays Louis looks like Penn. I wouldn't go on imdb. That place tends to be full of foilers. From all accounts, it seems that DB don't go anywhere and they realize that they are platonic which fits with the story that was onscreen. All their interaction was based on feeling like they couldn't be with the ones they truly loved. So, its more them wanting an answer to a question (much like the fans who have wanted it for years.) Dan wasn't nagging Serena about being in schemes from what I recall. I think the thing that has stood out to me this season (other than the need to give Serena way too many guest stars) is that a lot of the old issues are buried. I know I stand alone on this, but I actually think they've depicted a girl with daddy issues well. It may be hard to watch on television (and I think too many fans are unsympathetic to that plight) but I though they've handled it very well. Daddy issues don't just disappear because you fall in love or because your dad comes back. They stay and takes years of struggle to come to grips with them.
