I hope serena's love interest is interesting. as for the rest, I don't think ds are over for good just for now. but time will tell. I found it curious that they immediately altered the info.

It's long overdue. There's a reason we've seen DS fail so many times now, and I'm not sure if they can be redeemed.

I can't wait for Serena to meet new people, to be in different situations this season. Just a brand new start for it. It's much needed.

on a sidenote, I really like that Hilary Duff is about to come. especially when she's rooming with Vanessa, that girl desperately needs a SL, too.

and I'm also hoping for her to hook up with Dan, I think they'd make quite the hot couple.

I actually don't like that she is joining the cast, I think it's so weird, but I like why she's coming. It looks like the writers are looking for names to improve the ratings, but if they don't give us substance it won't work. People care about the cast members, we want to see new things, development.

in my new found optimism for season 3, I'll just think they give her substance, dont make her pointless, dont let her be evil, but enjoyable and important for Vanessa and/or Dan. yep, that's what I'll keep pretending until we hear otherwise.

You are speaking the truth bb. It's been one too many times. They really killed their relationship this season. I'm hoping for Serena/Carter, and then after some NS. Both of them are win, imo.

I'm hoping that both Ca/S and Nate/Bree brings about some revelations for NS. I'm hoping that they realize they've been with so many different people because they've been trying to find something that they only have with each other.

Im actually happy that Hilary Duff is coming, I mean the show can be so boring, and she definitely brings energy. I used to watch all her chick films years ago, like the one with CMM

I think she and Penn will have lots of chemistry so I'm looking forward to it. She could also bring more attention and audience to the show. I hope it turns out well.

Regarding the sudden removal of the DS spoiler, it could be they dont want to offend their large fanbase? There are so many people atm who'll go-I'm not watching if there's no DS/CB. GG need to ease the fans into newer pairings, show them the dazzling chemistry other pairings can have. Like serenate, Scarter, dair, DV,sb(!) etc.

I think it was done purposely. With reason -- it's proved a point to those who watch the show about the characters in question. If anything, the season proved that they don't work as a couple. And may not ever. And if the repetitive storylines are what we had to endure in order to move past that from now on. In turn never having to go through that again and having new SLs and love interests for Serena in this new season (real ones). I don't mind so much.

It's time for Serena to reach her potential. That's all I'm asking for

Yes, exactly! I love Blake as an actress and Serena is my favourite character, so I really need some character growth for her and some storylines that are actually good and original, rather than DS, take 384375 or OMFG I killed someone - oh, wait.
