I normally don't post here haha, but I'm glad that she's still at Brown. I hope that it doesn't change. It's time that Serena finds what she wants in her life and hopefully this opens up exciting storylines for her.

For the first time this spoiler of Serena and another guy doesn't make me too depressed. I swear my first thought was Carter; I want them to be close so bad that I'm biased. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a prince, prince. Sebastian is the son of a king in Kings... princes help ladies in distress, Carter is helping S... At least I have imagination

Or if it is someone else, he says "will be courted", not that they'll date. If it's another random, at least break the pattern this time and don't make him a loser.

We know Lily won't be in the first two episodes, for that reason I don't see the father SL happening right away, Lily is an essential part of that story. My guess is S will come back without her father or very solid information on him, she'll go to Brown and then the father will come up and she'll come back to NYC. Or on her way to Brown she receives a call or something and she won't go at all. We had that spoiler about S not being in NYC in the fall, something father related? So I think they'll develop this faher SL. And maybe that's when she'll be courted by the said prince.

I'm going to be bias and say that it's Sebastian

Until we have candids to prove otherwise. Sebastian played a Prince on his show Kings, after all. I think the term 'courted' is purposely used because it's what Prince's did. I don't know: maybe it's just me but if it said 'dating a Prince' it would have sounded awkward.

Anyway, regardless of that. I'm still optimistic it's Carter/Sebastian. It's just worded wisely, to throw us off. There's no reference to more info of this random coming in, or even telling us that it's some new actor joining the show for the guest sl. We haven't been prove otherwise yet. So I'm going to try and stay hopeful

No, we haven't.

But he makes it sound like the Serena/Prince thing will be happening at the time of Nate/Random [hence no NS]. So I''d say pretty early on in the season, the first few episodes.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who associated Seb's role in Kings to this spoiler. I've been checking other boards and some people are saying the same.

And again this doesn't have to be a real Prince, in the literal meaning of the word. It can be a reference to a girl's prince, someone who falls for her and fights for her and makes her feel like the one. Carter could fit here, or someone she meets abroad or in college.

And Lisa, when you read this, that still makes all the difference

Yes, many people are thinking the same. And obviously Mike knew they would.

I think Carter (and Sebastian because of his role) fits the descriptionh it too many aspects for it not to be him

I have no doubt it's Carter. even without Kings I immediately thought of him. plus, there's been no casting call for that role yet, it's gotta be him.
