It's too early to say for sure, but our sources tell us that next year on Gossip Girl does not look like the Year of "Dan Serena Dan Serena whoo!" At this point it looks like you can expect more of a brother-sister vibe from Dan and Serena (remember, they do share a half-sibling, Chris Riggi's Scott), rather than a whole epic love story thing, �* la Chuck and Blair. well, it's not like the writers are being creative with getting this girl for Nate. it's like..everyone knows their way of writing and could easily take over their job. grr. -.-

I actually think it's a good sign, it means he and Vanessa are done. And this chick will have the same treatment after a few episodes. But I understand the frustration and it only proves that the writers have no respect for the characters and actors. It's not their intention to give them good material to work with. Except one or two...

But let's wait, maybe this time it will bring something positive... wait has any guest star brought anything positive to add to the story?

Except Georgie, because as mental as she was, it was at least another aspect of S's personality we got to see through their friendship.

Georgie and Carter were the only ones who brought something to the show. G/S and S/Ca and CNCa allowed us to have an insight into the past of these characters. That's why they come back from time to time, because it worked. And I love Cyrus too. All the rest were mere useless plot devices.

I know we have no reason to trust this new season will be any better, the signs aren’t encouraging, but let’s wait and see. If they don’t deliver no media exposure and attention will save the show.
