Hah. No. I'm the same. The sparks and angst were mad between them in that scene. More so than a few other's I've seen with them and they didn't even have direct contact with each other.

It is. I think it would have brought a lot. What I wonder though is why. I find it rather confusing -- that scene is meant to take place after she makes the plans with Dan. And judging by that conversation, the writers wanted to convey the bond and the depth of Nate and Serena to each other. Was the show going for a Dan/Serena/Nate triangle? Even from the sides the Dan and Serena thing was there (And very clearly), I assume that they wanted to go for the triangle possibly...

It's obvious that the writers decided to take a completely different route because in 'The Wild Brunch' they show Serena surprised when Nate tells her she told Blair.

You'd think if they wanted to go for that triangle they would have left that scene in. I got the impression when I watched the forst couple of eps that they might head in that direction or maybe make it a square with a weird twisted Serena/Dan/Nate/Blair thingy bu they kinda drifted off of that.

Oh guys, you brought me in a rage ---> rant about the writers now.

All I'm saying..the promos, the quotes of Chace and Blake, EVERYTHING pointed to a triangle that included Serena and Nate, if with Blair or with Dan..I'd say Blair, but who knows.
The first scenes showed it, too. But then, it just got cut off, they left us hanging in the air, with NOTHING, like they never happened, and yeah, thats it. It looks like they wanted to go for them/B or D, but just killed them because they were so funny to..just do it. Guh. I hate these writers, with a passion. Sorry, that got quite long again. ^^
You're right, its confusing and it sucks.

Hah. Me too. I loved the catty!Serena we got to see in the first three episode's. Her showing she knew how to get her feisty on when she had a few showdown's with Blair was super entertaining.

I also loved seeing Catty Serena early on, especially in the great field hockey fight scene.

She showed that she`s good at being bitchy when she wants to be. Hopefully we`ll get to see more of that from her soon. It would be great to see Serena go after all those haters for hurting her girl Blair.
