I REALLY hope that Blake's talks for a fashion line get somewhere..by the sound of things people are interested and now is the best time. May be it's wishful thinking,but I think we might be getting one soon.

I second that request/hope. it would be awesome, and definitely about time. designers clearly love her and the media recognizes her, blurbs about her style more and more. its the right time!

I don't know about that, the market is being inundated with celeb 'designers' right now and legit. fashion insiders aren't taking too kindly to their lines. I think for the time being she should just stick with what she knows best -- acting.

She mentions it in her Nylon interview that she's been talking to people to get a line out. Has the interview not been posted?

Lizzie, ita, I meant really it's the best time for Blake. She's at a major peak of her career. But, yes, market wise, probably not the best. I hate the whole celeb-turned-designer thing myself, it's so overdone.

Yeah, I kind of hope she chooses not to pursue that idea. She doesn't really have the credibility or skills to design one yet.

True, but I don't think Blake needs that now. For now she should just focus on her career that looks very promising. She can be a style icon without having her name attached to a line.

LOL. Oops. Do they actually design stuff too? You see, I tend to switch off E!News as soon as the talk about this sort of stuff starts. I'll scream if one more nobody who thinks they're a somebody comes out with a perfume line.

I think that's part of the problem. She's brand new and therefore lacks the cred. to earn real respect from those that count. I just don't want our girl to face that kind of criticism.

And Mel, each of the aforementioned celebs. all maintain that they take an active role in the design of their lines.
