It's worth buying for the extras, but I don't know if it's available in all countries so... someone uploaded the whole movie to YouTube (not bad quality, but not full screen)...

New York Times didn't like the movie, but they liked Blake

Thanks for the heads up. Will check if it is available here, but I doubt it.

These two excerpts seem to represent the general reaction from critics, I remember reading a few more reviews with the same tone. Good for Blake/ the cast!

Don't worry, your DVD isn't missing anything - I just looked at mine and it doesn't have any extras, either. I just assumed the 'making of' clips and trailers would be on there (why I finally bought it after watching a screener copy forever.) Oh well, the 'making of' clips are still on Vimeo.

It comes out in in the UK on June 17 - maybe the PAL format will work throughout Europe?

Aw, that blows, that there's no extras on the DVDs. You'd think they'd put a bit more effort in the DVDs, if the movie itself wasnt that well received to begin with. But either way, thanks. At least they're available somewhere. Will watch asap.
I think the british code works all over Europe, I need to check, though.

It's funny cus the movies that aren't well received usually are the ones that good features and interviews. It sucks that this one doesn't have that.

Hick will be on Showtime starting this Saturday (April 13).

ETA: The distributor's web site shows the Canadian DVD having featurette + trailers, but Amazon.ca doesn't mention them.
