still, I totally loved her in this episode. only thing I'm missing is Eric/Serena scenes. :/

and I love the promo for the next one, cant wait to see Blair's face in the cake.

In the midst of another feud with Serena (Blake Lively), Blair (Leighton Meester) befriends a new “it” girl and takes her to an election night party at Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) hotel, hoping to make Serena jealous. Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star.

I like Tripp. He's a kind of nerdy, cute guy that's oddly appealing. He and Serena are seriously hot together - besides the fact that he's married of course.

Dan (Penn Badgley) is upset when Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) contemplates leaving school for a movie project. Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star.

I think no words can express how disappointed and angry I am with what they are doing with Serena. For six episodes she was so good; after the initial disappointment about her father she started building a life: a job, a person who cared for her by her side, she was dealing with her issues and with her life. Now, in two episodes she quit her job because instead of staying and fighting to be respected she chose to hear Blair’s mean voice about her job; she finds she’s attracted to a married senator, who, wait, she had a crush on! I liked Tripp in the previous episode; he seemed to have some sense of morals, of duty; now he’s just another creepy man. And wait, maybe in a few episodes S will discover she also has feelings for Nate! What a big joke it will be after what she had with Carter and this thing with Tripp. It just cheapens her and all her relationships.

Speaking of Carter. The show had gold with him and Serena; they could have had them dealing with their trust issues, with her daddy situation, with Carter’s gambling problem and his situation with his family; instead they dropped that for an affair with a married senator and who knows what with Nate. Sad, very sad. No matter how hard they try, they’ll never have the kind of scenes CaS offered us. Never. What Blake and Sebastian did with both characters is something only they can do.

And I have the impression in the Dad SL, Lily will be more the bad guy than him. I bet she won’t give Serena his letter. And who knows if it’s L who did something for him not to have any sort of contact with his children. I can’t see a doctor who works for DWB, who faces misery and shattered lives being this cold creature with his own children. There’s something here.

Has there ever been a time in the history of soaps that a person gets a letter (or txt, etc) like Serena did, and assuming Lily will hide that letter, that eventually Serena won't find out about it and be mad at her mother, etc?

You'd think these people would have that figured out by now

Yes, there is. I was quite surprised when we found out he was a doctor because it really changes how I perceive him.
