I loved the look on Chuck's face when just tells him she's moving in and then when the bellboy was bringing in her luggage.

Chuck: So, you want to hide out at the Bass Cave until you figure it out.

Serena really didn't mean to eff up his first business meeting and Serena was gutted when he called her a trainwreck. That's why she went crazy and recruited Carter to get back at him. Also, I think Chuck went to Rufus to get back at her, whatever he said to her. The look he gave her was 'let's see you get out of this one'. That's my interpretation anyway.

I like seeing Dan and Serena as friends.

Serena has no idea what it's like to have a real father, so when Rufus just disregarded her feelings, she was hurt. It would have been a big deal for her to go to him. Thank goodness he made it up to her the next time in the loft.

I enjoyed it when Serena and Carter were giving Chuck a piece of his own medicine. I love Chuck, but it's always good to see him get the occasional payback.

Carter looked so upset when he realised that Serena was using him. I'm glad he told her to get a new bad habit because Serena needed to hear that.

Thank goodness there was a good B/S scene on the Met steps. I love those two girls together.
B: I need you here.
S: Same.

Loved, loved, loved the last scene between Serena and Carter. It was good and right that she was the one that went after him, for her to tell him what she was feeling because he laid it on the line last week. For a second, it seemed that he was going to let her go, but thankfully no. Loved the kiss. sigh

I so loved Serena during this episode. She kept me riveted with her actions which were not nice at all, but understandable.

The look on her face when Chcuk called her a trainwreck was so sad. The fact that she didn't even say anything and just walked out made it worse.

That for her Chuck then went to Rufus and told him rubbed salt into the wounds and what followed wasn't pretty. She can be quite calculating when she wants.

Loved Carter. I did notice that he was reluctant to pick up her call and wondered why. Until I realised it was because she just blew him off after the wood scene. The boy's feelings were hurt but he still couldn't resist coming to her. And it was great that he told her off for using him like that.

I really liked this episode, at the least the stuff I cared about. Serena and Blair were two delightful trainwrecks to watch, in different ways, but still. And they so need each other. Their only scene was simply wonderful.

I was kind of worried when I read about the SC fall out, but I really liked it. It wasn’t contrived; I saw where both were coming from. The first time S ruined C’s business was an innocent mistake; the second time she went for it; she wanted to cause destruction. I’m not mad at any of them because they both were right and wrong: C calling S trainwreck: you’ve been there C, many times; but he was genuinely concerned about her; S ruining his business: he was so proud showing her his business plans and she seemed proud of him; you can’t treat the person who saved you so many times; the person you go to so many times, the way you did. But maybe because of that she felt betrayed. But their scenes together are so good! Seriously, how natural it feels to see them talking about dealers and debauchery, lol Just a normal day with the van der Bass siblings in the Bass cave! Add Carter Baizen to the mix and it a major win. I loved that scene. I hope they’re planning more CSCa scenes; they’re gold.

And CaS? What can I say? It simply is right, natural, fitting! Carter is the man, I was so proud of him for not letting her run all over him; yes, he likes her but he won’t let her treat him like her disposable boy toy. She had to go and fight for him. That scene was another CaS gem! They seem to have the best speeches for each other. My only complaint was how they cut off that hot kiss. And again, Blake and Sebastian showed how wonderful they connect, how wonderful they work together. This makes me extra happy because they’re my absolute two favourite GG people.

Overall, a good epi. As can be expected, I loved the S/Ca scenes the most. I wanted more of them. Too few scenes but Serena's convo with Carter at the end made me feel all happy & giggly again. I wish it was both of them at the very end of the ep (sorry D/G). hehe What she said to Carter made me get all girly & squeee. Her words were a perfect description of them. I think ...At last!! Serena chases Carter. I mean, he can only take so much before walking away. I was sooo happy he stood up for himself. I think that's waht makes Carter better than all the other guys. He's the only one with guts to call her on her b.s. and he didn't let her walk all over him (again). That's just what Serena needs, a strong guy like Carter who knows her and can balance her out perfectly.

Loved the besties scene with Blair. They're good for each other as BFFs in the way that no one else can be. I hope B won't have to choose between Serena and Chuck if the S/C war rages on. Darn. I hope those two don't fight for much longer. I hate seeing them at odds. I know that both of them made mistakes (Chuck with the "trainwreck" comment especially), but I was kind of frustrated with Serena when she went all-out on Chuck at his 2nd meeting, and hurt Carter in the process. I know she's hurting b/c her Dad issues but it made me sad that she had to react that way... Glad she made up with Carter (in a big way ), next up I hope is a C/S reconciliation.

overall... a good epi. more carter/serena scenes please!!

Agree with everything you guys have said. I'd have liked more besties scenes(they were soooooo cute, and blake being all giggly ) and SCarter, but I didn't mind since we got SC, which doesn't always happen and are quite underrated. Their scenes were great as usual, and so hott! I support both and it'll be interesting to see their feud just because I'm optimistic that it'll be done well, and not further contrived.

I loved Blair and felt a lot for her. She really made the college stuff watchable. CB didn't have much going on but it was cute anyway.

Finally SCa, I really appreciated the dynamics the writers created between them. I love that Carter could call her out on using him, like you guys mentioned. It really levels the relationship and shows us Carter isn't some guy whose blindly into her because she's Serena. It's great and so novel that she went after him to explain things, and asked for a second chance. Aww. They built a higher level of trust and a deeper bond. Kudos writers! Everyone in this s/l is so invested that it's being done so well. Hoping for more of this next week.

BTW, I couldn't help noticing a lot of chemistry between R/S I thought they were really hot!

Blake and Ed have these looks that they can give each other. I'm not really sure how to describe them, but they say a lot, and they had a couple of those through their scenes in this episode. I love watching them together. Though, CS, I wish you wouldn't fight! What she did wasn't exactly acceptable, but I have this tendency to excuse Serena's mistakes, and in a sense, I really do understand. Her life was spiraling out of control and she's always counted on Chuck to be a secret-keeper. It was really adorable, in the first scene, how she was so proud of him. That "trainwreck" moment broke my heart for them, though.

Serena/Carter...I would've hated that she'd used him, but the ending made up for it to some degree. I love that he just won't let her get away with it. He forced her to confront her feelings, and hopefully he'll help her get her life together. Gorgeous kisses.

I found RS sweet but a little awkward. He just has a funny name. Every time she called him "Rufus" I giggled. I like that he wants to be there for SE though. Serena's always needed a father figure.

Besties scene was so cute!

This is one reason I love CS so much. The little looks that say soooo much.

I loved these lines:
C: Well, hello sis. I assume you need a few ounces of study aid for Brown.
&
S: Chuck, I don't mind if you're dealer comes by.

CSCa is such a great combination.

they really are golden.
I so loved that moment when he showed her her plans. he seemed so proud, and she did too, proud of her step-bro. I think it was my fave scene out of the whole episode, along with "psycho"!Serena during Chuck's business meeting because Blake was just so good.

IKR? Serena was beaming with pride. That's probably one of my fave SC moments.
