EPISODE 1x14: THE BLAIR BITCH PROJECT
Airing: APRIL 21, 2008 at 9PM/8PM ET

Having been recently dethroned as Queen Bee in the last episode by Gossip Girl, with an assist from scheming “little J” (Taylor Momsen), Blair (Leighton Meester) hesitantly returns to school with the support of her BFF, Serena (Blake Lively). Meanwhile, Serena struggles to adjust to her new living arrangements with her future step-brother, Chuck (Ed Westwick), while receiving disturbing packages from an unknown sender. Jenny’s drive to be popular hits an all-new time high when she does something illegal to fit in with her new Upper East Side friends. Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. The episode was directed by J. Miller Tobin and written by KJ Steinberg (#113).

Very good episode tonight.

I like the Serena scenes, especially the early scenes with Blair, which were more cuteness and the scenes with Chuck. As for all the packages Serena was receiving, about midway in the episode, i knew that it was Georgina sending them to her. Now i can`t wait to see next week`s episode. It`s going to be very interesting to see Serena and Georgina together at last.

Gosh, the things she received?!! Porn, champagne, coke....crazy stuff.

I LOVED the ending with Serena and Chuck.

awesome episode for a return! loved it.

great storylines, great performances. I especially loved all the SC interaction we got, and the Basservoodsens. made of win, but also really intense in the end. really seems like there's some trouble coming for S, cant wait!

LOVELOVELOVE the episode. The pacing, the writing,the acting. Complete and utter perfection.

The fear/shock/horror in Serena's eyes once Lilly asked her what was wrong was so well done. Blake owned it, you could tell so much with that one look. I also liked the dramatic music in the background, heh. The on-going gag about Serena not showering was awesome (Chuck's line about the towels just about owned the episode). And if this didn't convert SB non-fans into fans. Then, I really have no idea what will. They owned the episode. I loved how Serena closed her eyes and was looking all goofy waiting to be complimented.

I do, though, miss the whole Kati/Iz aspect of the show. And I never thought I would be saying that.

It really was. I mean even the Jenny vs. Blair parts were well done. I really have no idea who's side I'm on.

I KNOW. I was like the music was soo dramamtic...especially when the letter came. LMAO!

I do too. Kati and Iz has the funniest matching outfits.

mh, I choose to not be on any side. I have a hate/love relationship with Blair, and I dont really care about J, so its kind of just fun watching them ruining both their lifes. ^^ although I still dont really get, how Jenny could come so high suddenly. I mean, she's not a part of this world, never was, and suddenly SHE dethrowend B? whatever.

Kati/Is? I dont miss them AT ALL.

It really was a cute Serena episode. And next week looks promising.

next week looks like fierce, I tell you! I love that the 2nd half centers around Serena.

and I dont believe a thing of this Leighton/Nan (?) stuff. she even said it herself, Nan, that it wasnt like this, I think.

and next week looks like alottt of drama for serena...aww
