Newly available 10 minute Chace interview from when he was in Sweden:kanal5.se - Webb-TV See starting at 4:19 minutes Interviewer asks: What's the gossip on the girls Chace: [laughs, says a few things] I love Blake.....I love Leighton..even Taylor Momsen. See starting at :38 minutes Interviewer: ...talking about the gossip, we have a question from Jenny, "Are you dating Serena in real life? If no, why the hell not? You guys look so cute together!" Chace: [starts laughing profusely, throws his head back] Oh my God! [laughs, turning red] Me and Blake are like best friends, you know? She's like my sister, so I think that would be a little..a little weird. [laughs] And um, and I mean just for the general purpose of it's...I mean I don't believe in really crossing those lines with co-stars. 'Cause it gets kind of sticky, yeah. And again, she's like my sister. Cause it's all make-believe [laughs]...it's all pretend.[laughing]" GAH. That was very telling. I think that was the first time he's ever been asked that. Wonder if that prompted any thoughts on his part? His answer tries to be the right one, but is muddled and telling. The first thing he says is that they're best friends, thereby affirming what the questioner kind of suspects, that they indeed are very close, is there something else? He doesn't say, she's like my sister so there's no way it could ever happen. He simply says she's like my sister. He then hems and haws about things can't really happen because we're co-stars (they can't really happen? or can they kind of happen?) He then ends with trying to say it's make-believe. But it sounds like "what you see isn't what you think you see, because I am worried you're on to me now". At least, that's what I like to think.  __________________ Daphne icon by lexi | |||
