Once, they were childhood friends who didn't get along. Tied by their families, both were forced to be homeschooled together for two years. Nine fateful years later, they were brought together by a show, playing the cornerstone couple, spending lots of time together while shooting, which eventually made them realize how much they were meant for each other.

Keeping it discrete at first, Penn and Blake have been subject of talks about having an offscreen relationship since the fourth quarter of 2007. Sightings kept on coming, yet, pictures were scarce. But despite their declination of confirming their rumors, people never gave up on pursuing what was up between the two.

On May 2008, People magazine posted pictures of these two canoodling and kissing in a beach resort in Mexico. That was enough proof for everyone. Since then, Penn and Blake kept on spreading their love on the streets of NY, during events, while shooting Gossip Girl, and even in front of their parents.

True love is never easy to find. So once you do, you should keep it forever.
