Once, they were childhood friends who didn't get along. Tied by their families, both were forced to be homeschooled together for two years. Nine fateful years later, they were brought together by a show, playing the cornerstone couple, spending lots of time together while shooting, which eventually made them realize how much they were meant for each other.

Keeping it discrete at first, Penn and Blake have been subject of talks about having an offscreen relationship since the fourth quarter of 2007. Sightings kept on coming, yet, pictures were scarce. But despite their declination of confirming their rumors, people never gave up on pursuing what was up between the two.

On May 2008, People magazine posted pictures of these two canoodling and kissing in a beach resort in Mexico. That was enough proof for everyone. Since then, Penn and Blake kept on spreading their love on the streets of NY, during events, while shooting Gossip Girl, and even in front of their parents.

True love is never easy to find. So once you do, you should keep it forever.

The coolest thing about lunch at Fred's was seeing some famous people!

Penn Badgley and Blake Lively from Gossip Girl (Dan and Serena)
were enjoying a late breakfast/early lunch. I could see them from
where I was sitting and kept checking 'em out for the sake of
fulfilling my own curiousity more than actual interest in their work.
Others were being complete fools, walking by and gawking or
stopping to interupt and profess there undying love for them or
whatever. Truth is, they looked like normal people and while they
weren't particularly dazzled up as they are when deliberately
prancing about under the medias critical gaze, they looked
just as they do in the pictures and on TV... Though dressed
a bit more sloppy, especially for Badgley. In fact, I had the
impression that they had just recently woken up.

line for the restrooms. They are both really
goodlooking, she's got real curves and he is
taller than her in real life.

with girlfriend Blake Lively at Norma's inside New
York's Le Parker Meridien hotel. "He had the eggs
benedict and she had the berry waffle," says an
onlooker. "They sat side by side, giggled, played
on their phone and ate. They were very sweet together."
