I could see Rachel/Seaver coming back if they possibly killed Hotch (don't want to think about it!) or they need help from Andi Swann's team. But I have a feeling we won't see her again (unless maybe the series finale). Not only would fans probably be upset, but Rachel was treated like crap just like AJ and Paget were. Not sure if she'd want to return. Although I suppose if it was just a guest appearance.

There isn't a single scenario where Seaver coming back would make sense to me, she was one of the most pointless characters we've ever had. Personally, I'd love to forget her existence tbh.

The more I think about Hotch leaving, the more I feel sure they'll kill him and it's really frustrating. I need spoilers.

No, that was Elle. Seaver was the one who came on in season 6 to basically replace JJ and eventually Prentiss.


Yeah, I really don't think she'll come back. Especially considering fans never warmed up to her. She had potential, but she just wasn't written/used as well as she could have been.

I'm going to live in happy land and keep on thinking they won't kill Hotch I just feel like killing Hotch will actually bring up more obstacles for them.

I have always been a big fan of Rachel Nichols / Seaver .. Looking up her bio she is filming a movie at the moment . Years ago , when Paget left , she publicly said she would love to come back to the show . Then she starting a Canadian TV show continuum , Sci Fi futuristic . That ran for 4 seasons ..

I think it had a lot more to do with the fact that they chose such a bland, mediocre actress to play the character, really. They were so desperate to replace JJ with a blonder, younger version of her they didn't even bother picking someone with real acting skills. The whole my-father-the-serial-killer thing could've been great but it was obvious from her very first episode she didn't have the acting chops to carry that storyline.

I wish I could erase Seaver from my memory altogether, she was worse than Jordan.
