From TV line here is the details of the finale we seem to be getting a cliffhanger
http://tvline.com/gallery/may-sweeps...#!6/undefined/ CRIMINAL MINDS PRE-FINALE: On the eve of May Sweeps, April 26, Jane Lynch returns as Diana to indirectly deliver “a huge break” in the Reid case, says showrunner Erica Messer. In the same episode, Joe Mantegna’s daughter Gia reprises her Season 3 guest star role, though a tight-lipped Messer files the why of that under “spoiler.” For the final two episodes of the season, titled “Green Light” and “Red Light,” the Case of the Week “is 100 percent centered around Reid,” all building to what Messer calls “a satisfying end to the journey that he has been on” since midseason. SEASON FINALE (MAY 10): As Reid’s arc winds down, Messer says to expect “some surprises” — including one dropped on the BAU by no less than Derek Morgan (guest star Shemar Moore), who resurfaces for the episode as a civilian. Ultimately, the season ends with “a good, old-fashioned cliffhanger,” which the following quote might shed some light on: “Scratch will definitely still be playing a part, all the way to the last frames of the finale.” Adds Messer, “Just when we think we’ve got a handle on things, you get another curve ball.” |
Yeah, I read a couple weeks ago that TV Line said there would be a cliffhanger at the end of this season. They supposedly described it as "one of the show's biggest cliffhangers". They must have been pretty confident that they would be renewed.
Now, if they're saying it's one of the biggest cliffhangers the show has done, what could it possibly be? I mean, I just can't see them doing anything bigger or better than the season 3 finale. And since Morgan is in the finale, I don't know how a cliffhanger with someone's life in jeopardy would work. I mean, I don't know how long Morgan is in the finale, but you'd think if he was just there helping them with the case and someone got hurt and was on death's door, Morgan would be back in the premiere to see how they're doing. I have a feeling Scratch will be around in season 13. If so I hope he doesn't last the entire season because if it's another season of Scratch on the loose, the BAU is going to look really stupid and incompetent. |
Even great news Writers strike has been averted , the union WGA has come to agreement ..
|
Great news :)
|
A TV writer strike would've affected every scripted show on TV today . Would have delayed scripted shows for the 2017 18 fall season . Last strike gave us the birth of reality television !
|
Not sure if it became better because of that
|
Writers union didn't get everything they wanted … The last strike cost the entertinment indudusry like 100 million . So,part of agreeing to terms was how badly it would affect financially the industry ……
Funny some of the reality shows are not that bad :goof: |
Glad they're won't be a strike. Like Matt said, it would have affected all the scripted TV shows in the fall.
I remember the last strike. I really liked the show Pushing Daisies. It started in Fall 2007. But only 9 of the 22 episodes aired because of the strike. They decided to halt production and pick up again in the 2008-2009 season, but the ratings declined and it got canceled. I know a bunch of people in comments sections have talked about how a bunch of shows were affected. Some got canceled because of it, there were shorter seasons, some shows lost the quality they had before the strike. Scoop on Morgan's return and the finale Quote:
