I agree if you know 22 episodes will end a series on 299 episodes then yes definitely have an extra to round it up to the big milestone!

CBS UpFronts are Wednesday. We'll find out what their Fall schedule will look like. We'll see if CM keeps the 9PM slot or possibly moves to 10PM

Not surprised Beyond Borders got canceled. It wasn't doing that well with the ratings. It didn't do super well last year either and I think people were surprised it even got a second season. But hey, at least it lasted longer than Suspect Behavior.

Maybe some of the Beyond Borders cast can make guest appearances on CM.

Fox put out there Fall programming schedule . Empire ,which was always beating CM Wed night 9 pm in the ratings .. moving to 8pm on Wed

Depending on if any of the current CM cast , looking more towards the newer members . can't strike a contract deal . i'd love to see Alana de la Garza step in join the team . She is veteran actress and was excellent on CMBB .

Based on the cliffhanger ,say anyone of the team members is critically injured , storyline wise . CBS could being in one of the "IRT team from Beyond borders .. Even if temp . We know Shemar might appear in ep1 season 13 , that is it ..

I can't see Gary sinese being used, he is top player actor , i am sure he gets top $$ ...

I wouldn't think they wouldnt renew criminal minds .without knowing that the cast is all signed / agreed on new deals .
With Empire moving , hopefully criminal minds can increase their ratings for next season

Matt, I was thinking the same thing about Empire no longer being competition. However, CBS has moved Criminal Minds to 10PM

Shemar's show SWAT will be on Thursdays at 10 starting November 2.

It's a little sad that Criminal Minds won't be able to have the same time slot for its entire run, but looking at it from CBS's perspective, this was probably the right move. Survivor is still a strong lead in and could help new shows. Criminal Minds is older and doesn't have the numbers for it to be a lead in show for a new show at 10. Nothing has done too well for CBS at Wednesdays at 10 for a few years now so it makes sense they would want to push a veteran to that slot and put a new show after Survivor.

Just saw that, plus if any of the new shows fail(IE: Seal Team) , which happens each season . CM could move back to 9 pm

Yeah, it's possible they could move CM back to 9 should the SEAL show not work out. People seem to think SEAL will be on of the better shows to premiere in the fall. We'll see.

Code Black, Man With a Plan and Elementary will held for mid season. Should SEAL not do well, I can't see one of those shows going in at 9. Not sure what else was held for mid season.

Shemar's show will be on Thursdays at 10 starting in November. I've seen a bunch of people say that CBS might not have faith in it because Thursday at 10 has been a death slot for them the past few years and they tend to put shows they don't fully own in that slot since it doesn't do well. Hopefully SWAT can break that bad spell though! But people think should it not do well they could put Elementary or Code Black in its spot.
