His mother, well that's a different story.
Okay, after she saw him those three years ago, of course she was sure he was still alive, but before that, it was just a mother not believing her child was probably dead and she would never see him again. And the alcohol...

I read something like this, too, and it's good.
Something about him having had three surgeries, not being sure if they could even save that knee.

not even being able to bury him

I honestly don't know how he managed to hurt his knee that badly, but like you said, at least he is walking on his own now

I agree.
It's one thing knowing your child is dead and having to bury them.
It's another to know they are most likely dead, but never have confirmation of that.
Never being able to really find peace.

It was said he twisted it in some weird way, but who knows, since you can get the weirdest of injuries.

It was more than just that, cause it said something like that the doctors hadn't seen that before.

As far as I can tell, he did good as a director.

This was a really great episode, and I almost cried (okay, there were tears, lol) when Charlie told them and the father said 'He was alive yesterday?' Sooooooooooo sad.

A 2 parter would have been nice.. but they were wacko and i'm assuming the crazy broad couldn't have children. If an ep engages me I don't need a 100% solid thing like that to have me entertained and pleased, lol.

the father was so broken!

Yes, I think they could have stretched it to a two parter, but all in all, it was an amazing episode

I have a special place for my CM DVDs too

And I don't let anyone touch them

after waiting forever for them to arrive, directly for the US, I won't let anyone touch them
