This episode was amazing. Made me stare at the tv screen for a while after I heard the gunshot and the teams faces... It was so heartbreaking. I have never felt so sad for anything in my entire life.

TG rocked this episode. So did his wife and kid.
This show keeps getting better and better.

As we approach Ep 200 , take a moment to look back at Criminal minds iconic episode 100!

We saw a violent end to "The Reaper" arc .

Two deaths , Aaron's wife Haley murdered as Hotch raced to save her .
Then the brutal fight to the death between Foyet and Hotch . When Arron had foyet down and beaten , he beat him to death . Morgan had to pull him off .

Only small light moment was Jack , as he hid " working the case daddy " Arron holding him
Tight !

It is perhaps one of the most intense episodes in criminal minds history

This was on last night , I just turned ION there it was. Had to DVR it , still got sad near the end . How Hotch stood ready despite seeing Haley dead . The brawl with Fox/Foyet never gets old , so intense

Oh wow, I haven't seen 100 in a long time. One of the best episodes of the series, in my opinion. It was a Hotch story, but still involved the team. I also liked how they told the story. The case with Foyet and Haley being murdered was in the past, with the present being the team talking to Strauss and telling parts of the story. They did this similar format with It Takes A Village (7x01) and Sick Day (12x02)

I too had not seen this ep in at least 2 years . I had forgotten how the ep started after everything that happened . Thomas should have gotten a Emmy for that ep. the emotions he had to portray driving on the phone listening to Haley‘s last words ,seeing her dead . Yet able to focus find foyet ..

Agreed, Thomas was Emmy worthy. They could have at least given him a nomination

OMG now that's a milestone episode if ever there was one I feared for Hailey going into the episode where Thomas did a remarkable job with his breakdown holding her body

Am glad that Foyet was wearing bulletproof cause otherwise it would have been anticlimatic where their fight before Aaron beats him to death was quite a good fight between them

Am going to miss Foyet cause up until now he was the best villain imo his arc was extremely intriguing and it was a big one for Aaron

Foyet taunting Hailey with the fact that all this was due to Aaron not taking the same deal that the original detective took Meredith did a remarkable job in those final moments especially about telling Aaron to tell Jack about their love

Can I just at Erin though she redeemed herself at the end of the episode when she asked Aaron what he thought Foyet would do, taking his answer of how Jack's life was in danger aka her taking his answer as justification of his beating Foyet to death Also thinking about it, Erin had to do what she did even if I want to at her

WOW that was one hell of an episode

Thomas absolutely deserved an Emmy for the episode or at least a nod/nomination where if he didn't than just

Jack was super adorable with the "working the case"
