I had a guest over who hadn’t seen CM in 5 years , had to briefly bring him up to speed . I had to hide my overwhelming joy seeing AJ /Reid back together !!
In 13 seasons I don’t remember too many cases they delt with , no death murders! I need to rewatch it __________________

When the BAU was called in there hadn't been a death by murder. I've seen many people asking why the BAU was involved, but I think I remember Rossi explaining something at the beginning about that. I think it was because of where the body was found that made it a bureau case.
Technically, there was a murder, since Mac (the assistant police chief) was murdered because of the case. I liked this episode. An improvement over last week for me and I think this one is probably one of my favorites of the season. I thought the team was pretty well balanced and I really liked how, like the team, we weren't sure who did this and were left guessing for most of the episode. I felt this episode emphasized the cerebral side more than the action and I liked that. Loved Reid talking with the daughter. I thought that was a very nice scene. And the actress playing the daughter was very good. Nice performance from her! The actor who played Mac was on Glee, so I knew of him since I watched that show. I was also spoiled that he would die because one of the sneak peeks zoomed in on his pictures on the board the team had of the victims. I felt they could have explained more of Mac's motives and what he knew. I can't remember the friend's name (the lady who tried to take her life at the end with the pills her sister gave her), but did she tell Mac what happened and her sister also found and murdered Mac? I touched on it above, but I felt all the team was used nicely. I liked seeing JJ at the hospital with the family. I also liked the conversation between Garcia, Reid and JJ at the end. Garcia wondering why people would want to do this to themselves, with JJ saying they felt like it's the only they can deal with their problems, and Reid adding that it's not a solution. All points to ponder on. The team dinner at the end was nice. It's been a while since we've had one. Though I couldn't help but think they're toast took forever. All 5,000 members toasting individually the person next to them while going around the table. If I was sitting where Reid was I probably could have been on my second or third drink by the time they got to me Again, a good episode. Kirsten and Erica work well together. Maybe we should just have Breen and Erica & Kirsten write episodes. |
