sneek preview alone has this unsub as pretty brutal . Not that last weeks was any less brutal .
Always happy to see a happy reunion amongst the team. Curious how Emily and Luke will get along . Emily met Tara last season . Garcia Emily scene with hugs will bring smiles !

I shared it in another thread but that pic looks like it might be from episode 6 based on Kirsten's outfit. Probably toasting Emily on becoming the new unit chief as well as hopefully saying good things about Hotch.

It doesn't look like an episode pic at all to me though, especially judging by AJ's expression - it has AJ written all over it, not a hint of JJ. But it could be a BTS from a toasting/celebration scene where they took advantage of the moment and drank.

I think those pics are probably cast behind the scenes, but there is another similar one I think in the cast thread that looks like it is an episode still and it shows the characters toasting. So I think these are just behind the scenes of the cast goofing off while filming that scene

My review later .. next ep is in 2wks .. No Aisha tonight . Luke has a dog not a women he lives with ! Emily /Luke bonded , yet he told her he wasn't deployed in Iraq with 75 Army regiment , at the end of the ep he asked prentiss to not tell anyone ..

Haven't watched yet. Figured no Tara from sneak peeks and behind the scenes photos. After the premiere I, as well as many IMDB users, guessed Roxy was a dog or cat and not a girlfriend.

Wonder what the ratings will be like.

This was an alright episode, I suppose.

The team being team-sy was the saving grace of it because the case was just sleep inducing. What a lousy unsub, seriously. Mediocre actor, boring storyline and they could've at least cast an actress who realistically looked like she could be his mom. The 16 year age gap wasn't apparent at all, they looked only a few years apart.

Luke and his dog were adorable, so was Garcia calling him newbie. Luke profiling Prentiss (and vice versa) was great, so glad to have her back. <3 It was odd seeing JJ talk about Hotch when we already know he's not coming back. It's odd not having Thomas in the opening sequence too.

However...



I do love this. This feels correct.

Still haven't seen the episode but I have heard more negative than positive things so i'm not sure what to expect.

Ratings:
18-49 Demo: 1.7
Viewers: 8.36 million.

It's up from last week. I personally think the real tests will come with episodes 4-9. There might be some viewers who have no idea Hotch is gone for good (like older viewers who don't use social media). Many people said the writing and acting was bad last night, so that plus no Hotch and a week off might affect the ratings for episode 4. We'll have to see. I know some people who were upset about Hotch leaving said they would still give it a shot, but so many were turned off by last night's episode they said they might be done unless they hear an episode is good.

At least the ratings are still good right now.


Edit because I just thought of something: wasn't Tara in a promo pic for this episode?

I don't know about JJ because her outfits all look pretty similar, but that wasn't the outfit Garcia was wearing in the briefing room. Also, Prentiss was in the scene as well, so that picture must've been tagged wrong.
