Hi everyone ,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customisation process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Rae or Mel a PM or ask the Team on the message board customisation thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

We are well aware of when boards get (re)customized

And it was more like 5 years ago (thread was started in 2011 / board was customized in 2012).

it takes time . So 2012 , last time It was a nice change of pics and graphics

I like the blue/red vibe there is here but I'm sure you guys have ideas

Which characters should be included? Hotch, JJ, Morgani, Prentiss, Garcia, Rossi and Reid are a must for me even if Hotch left

. What about Luke? Will? do we add them

I get excited when boards are re done

Curious from all the regulars and other posters is do we change the cast/board photo ? personally I would update it ,newer cast pic but no additions ..

I think it makes sense to go to the current cast

Probably with Emily moved to the middle considering recent changes. Including Hotch and Morgan would be nice, because they were both such an important part of the team, but I think it's important to include the newer members of the team, especially Tara.

Exciting news

As much as I'd love to include older cast members like Gideon and Elle, I suppose we must stick to the current cast. However, I feel like Hotchner and Morgan should be included - smaller, but there. They were a huge part of the show for 11 seasons and unlike CBS, I want to keep seeing their faces.

This is the picture used in the opening credits, and I think that's the character placement to go with + adding the smaller pictures of Hotch and Morgan - with Hotch on the side next to the JJ (the blonde on the right) and Morgan on the side next to Garcia (blonde on the left):

I know nine characters is a lot of work but I honestly can't imagine our board with a banner that doesn't include Hotch and Morgan.

Also (and I hope others agree with me), can we get rid of the blue?

I mean, the current scheme we have is obviously lovely, but it doesn't feel very Criminal Minds to me. I know red boards are a no no for the GT but some of the more reddish schemes here on FF are really beautiful, so I think red as the main color would definitely be the best choice for us. I really like the scheme of the (now closed) Sleepy Hollow board and I think something like that, minus the brown, would work well for us IMO.

We'll have to wait for Damon to be added to get a full updated photo of this season's cast. But I do like the idea of keeping Hotch and Morgan for sure.

I don't know if it would work, but something like one of these pictures would be cool:

With the first one, Luke/Adam and Stephen/Damon would need to be added. With the second one, Paget and Thomas could be switched and Damon added to the top picture.
