Yeah maybe.
But doesn't he know that we miss him in the show?

I loved his character.. and I loved everytime he had scenes with Penelope and how they'd call each other their little nicknames.

When Shemar left last year, he said he left to have some down time. He said if he got work then great but if not that was perfectly fine too.

He mentioned wanting to travel and possibly start a family. He also joked about his dogs looking at him funny because he was home more

Although SWAT will be a similar role to Criminal Minds, he's got more of a main role in SWAT. His character on SWAT is sort of the main character I believe and his character becomes head of the unit. I think I also read that he may be a producer on SWAT. So those could be reasons why he's doing SWAT now

We do miss him! but its his choice and I hope he can come back every now and then!

He is still home more even after being on SWAT? Or was that before he was on the show?
Well, it's nice though that he seems to be happy with his time at home and everything
