Broken Mirror (1x05) was always an episode I listed as one of my favorites for season 1. They did a really good job with the profiling in this episode. Actually, the profiling was really good throughout the first season and the first few seasons as well. I wish they could have kept that level and quality because the profiling wasn't quite as strong in later seasons.

I also felt the case with this one was interesting. I really enjoyed the unsub profiling the team over the phone. The team's reactions were pretty funny. The team had some great moments. Elle had good scenes with the one twin sister. We got to see some intense Gideon as well.

No Garcia and no JJ. Reid wants to remain quiet and not talk about his date with JJ. That's how it always should have remained...

1x06 - "LDSK":
When a sniper non-lethally guns down six Des Plaines, Illinois civilians and unintentionally kills one, the BAU works with local authorities to prevent him from executing another attack. Reid finds himself forced to work without a gun after failing his firearms qualification exam.

Broken Mirror was good it was i threshing to see the team profile from the Unsub.

Yes episode 5 Broken Mkrror is another season 1 fav episode of mine.

Episode 6 LDSk is one of my fav season 1 episodes. I love how went Reid from not being able to shoot a gun well to saving the day with hot and killing the Unsub with a head shot. LOL when Reid tells Hotch he kicks like a 9 year old girl. Reid tossing the whistle back to Morgan. Good epsiode.

LDSK is another one of my favorite season 1 episodes. I really loved all the Hotch and Reid scenes. I love how Hotch was trying to help Reid pass his shooting qualification. And I also loved how Hotch had faith in Reid at the end of the episode when they were being held hostage. The Hotch and Reid bond was one of my favorites on the show, and I personally preferred Hotch and Reid over Reid and Gideon.

Reid telling Hotch he kicked like a 9 year old girl was funny. And I love how when Reid tried to give the gun back to Hotch, Hotch let him keep it and said as far as he was concerned, he passed his qualification. And poor Reid when Morgan teased him in the beginning At least Elle was sympathetic towards Reid. But at least Reid was able to toss the whistle back at Morgan at the end I love how Morgan just said touche and did a little laugh and smile. I'm pretty sure he was proud of Reid

Morgan pushing Reid to the ground when they thought they were under attack was sweet and funny. And Gideon protected JJ.

JJ also had some nice moments. When the guy refused to give his sources Gideon was putting him in handcuffs and JJ said they have a right to detain him for as long as they want, and the guy then gave his source. JJ had some great moments as media liaison, it's a shame that they couldn't explore her more and expand her role as liaison.

1x07 - "The Fox":
When two families living in two different states are found dead days after they were supposed to leave on vacation, the BAU sets out to profile a family annihilator who sees himself as the perfect father figure and is dedicated to punishing what he believes to be dysfunctional families.

The Fox was another strong episode.


We meet baby Jack in this episode

Reid interviews a suspect by himself. You can tell he's nervous. Hotch comes in for back up when the suspect starts getting restless and yelling. The suspect asks Reid is Hotch is "his daddy"

At the end of the episode we learn that the unsub had killed more people/families than what was thought in the episode when the team finds a box of wedding rings. Nice little twist to show that this guy had been doing this and getting away with it before being caught and the BAU not picking up on more connections

I'll watch this over the weekend we saw The Fox again in 5x08

Yeah it was interesting to see him again in season 5. I like the occasional reappearance by old unsubs years later.
