I know she did the covers thing on idol, and recently I Told You So by Randy Travis on her Carnival Ride album, what other songs would you like to see her cover?

Were you happy with the ITYS inclusion on Carnival Ride? It's slightly cliched, I thought. Twangy old country ballad..

I liked I Told You So... but I haven't listened to Randy Travis' version, so I can't say yet...

Carrie covering Predictable... that would be good. Interesting.

I couldn't find the original on YouTube. Anyway, I looked it up, Randy released it in 1988 so it's not as recent as I thought! I thought it was such a waste for Carrie to record that 'cos I thought it was newer than that, but it's not..its been settled for almost 20 years..it was nice of her to bring it back I guess. Best choice though? Probably not..it's not really anything different to what's on CR and SH even..it's rather ordinary [despite her vocals & ability to tell the story].

I hope, with the next cover she does, that she picks something that she can rework completely. Adding some twangy guitars isn't really anything, is it? Actually, I just listened to the original..she pulled it back even more than Randy's!

As for Delta..well, that would be noice. It's a bit like Before He Cheats..probably nicer than that, if anything - which is hilarious because they run along the same theme.

Yeah... the 'correlation' between BHC and Predictable was one of the first things I thought of when you posted it.

I don't know what you guys think of this... but I'd like to see how she goes covering a pop song.

ITYS is not one of my favourites on the album but I do quite like it.

I'd like to see her do an acoustic verson of Rhiana's "Umbrella" actually. I've heard two acoustic versions (one for The Hills and one by Mandy Moore) and both are awesome (compared to the original) and I know Carrie could do acoustic so much better than all of the above....

Oh gosh, please no more Umbrella reworkings. I'm so over that song, and I don't think even Carrie could rekindle any love I once had for it.

Yeah. About Umbrella... Natalie Gauci did an okay cover of it, but I'm over that song now.

I would love to see her do a mini-cover in between a song..like, I remember seeing Beyonce do Crazy In Love, then in the middle break into Crazy by Gnarls Barkley. That would be cool for Carrie to do something like that. Examples of this for her, well I'm not sure..maybe a little of JT's What Goes Around.. in between Before He Cheats?
