I could not watch the CMAs but I just read that Carrie won Female Vocalist . I am so happy that it was her again finally. She really deserved it and it was about time they moved on from giving it to Miranda all the time.

^ Quite possibly given they were celebrating fifty years of the CMAs.

It was not the first thing I did when I came on yesterday but it was not too long after. It then took me a while to realise what I was reading and for it to sink in that it was true. A part of me was expecting them to yet again give it to Miranda even though it made more sense for Carrie to win since she has done so much more and yes regardless of my opinion I would have been happy either way . I am so glad that they did not do that and happy for Carrie . It is exciting news and it makes me now wish I had found a way to tape the CMAs to watch it all but at least there is always YouTube.

I am so happy she finally won Female Vocalist again And she was obviously very happy too. At first it kinda seemed like she wasn't expecting that at all.

I was hoping she would win Entertainer too. But there's always a next time
