I hadn’t heard that, either!

So what if she doesn’t want to record a song with them. That’s her personal choice. I’m sure she’s not being malicious behind her reasonings. She would totally co-write a song with them, I’m sure! I’ve never not liked FGL, but they just don’t do anything for me. The only thing about them I like is their name, because I’m from Florida and my brother lives in Georgia.

Yeah so basically what happened was back in February Florida Georgia Line posted on Instagram asking Carrie to do a duet with them on this not good song called Feels Good, instead of privately reaching out to her manager. It put her in an awkward position I’m sure because of how public they were with asking! They deleted the picture now, but I felt bad for Carrie because they were somewhat forcing her to work with them...and I feel like working with them would have caused her a lot of hate because FGL’s music isn’t the best. I’m sure Carrie was super sweet if she did definitely say no on the song!

The lyrics weren’t raunchy, it just seemed like a pretty bro country song based off the lyrics and it seemed repetitive because they kept on saying the “Feels Good” part over and over! It seemed way too immature for Carrie but it was only a clip of the song.

FGL always seem to have repetitive lyrics.

Yeah they do! It’s kinda crazy because David Garcia worked on that song with FGL, and Carrie worked with David Garcia on her entire Cry Pretty album. Maybe Meant To Be was Florida Georgia Line’s idea
