I only really watched the Brad and Carrie parts

I did think it was less funny, but that might have to do with the memorial thing?

That is understandable. I mostly watched their parts too, and the performances.

It was a little different this year it seems

But they have been doing it for 10 years, so change can be good.

The memorial might have changed the tone a bit.
