Yeah, but the beginning of the song makes it sound like she's on the way to her wedding - "all dressed in white" and "something borrowed, something blue." That's the bit that confuses me but like you say, then the rest of the song makes sense about his funeral.

Yea i definatley think its a wedding at the beginning because "shes all dressed in white, going to the church that night." and the "something borrowed something blue" But then it somehow turns into a funeral

ok maybe its her fiance and she they never got married so like she's showing up to the church all dressed like that because thats how she was supposed to see him in the church, like she was getting married, not like it was his funeral.

i kinda like sounds like she was supposed to get married to him and hes not coming back so she goes to the funeral as if it was her wedding to say goodbye coz she goes to the funeral with all the wedding stuff and the box of letters from
him which is confusing..
