but compared to "Some hearts"! In that album, there are some songs that don't sound country at all.

Like "Some Hearts", "Starts With Goodbye", "I Just Can't Live a Lie".

I don't think her albums are that country. Some songs are, but collectively I don't think so. I guess I just think it is because she's always so gung-ho about saying country music is where she's at, but..if I actually listen to all the songs imo it's a pop record. [This and Some Hearts.]

I agree with you about SH, but I do think that CR is a country album!
The lyrics and the music really sound country, especially "All-American Girl", "Just a Dream" and "Crazy Dreams"

Carrie sings both pop and country, so she can be considered as a pop-country artist!

Sometimes You Leave is creeping up as one of my favourite Carrie songs. There's something eery about it that I just love and makes me wanna hear it again and again. It's just a bit dark, and I like that with her. It's more emotional, I think.
