Despite all the rumours of an american album, they've never tried to crack america. Shame because I think they could have done well.
They hold the record for the most consecutive top 10 hits, with all of their singles going top ten. A record even The Spice Girls can't come close to. I've heard them classed as the UK's version of Danity Kane, but I've heard them and I think they're crap to be honest! haha Nadine is kinda the lead singer, being that she probably has the most lines and is by far the best vocalist. She was dating Jesse Metcalfe for a while and was in Natasha Bedingfield's video for "I Wanna Have Your Babies" and she now lives in LA, so I thought you might have heard of her but apparently she goes by the alias of "Laura the waitress" so as not to be recognised! lol Anyway, they were formed ona reality TV show (An image they've managed to shed and now be classed as very credible much like Carrie haha) Popstars: The Rivals.... Here's a lil clip of the final YouTube - Girls Aloud Popstars The Rivals Final (I know they look old fasioned but this was in 2002!!) And here's them performing a few of song's you might know... Infact, you can connect them to carrie in another way than the fact they came from a reality tv show....they also did a cover of "I'll Stand By You" for charity!
