| I'm readin Wicked at the moment and am really enjoying it. Wasn't sure what it would be like after seeing the show first but it's really good. Just getting to the third part where she's at Fiyero's old house meeting his wife. | |||

| I bought the book Sunday night, after seeing the musical Satuday, and finished it Monday afternoon. I thought it was fantastic, and way more political than I expected. Did anyone else think Elphaba was adorable as a little girl besides me? And what was your take on the relationship between Glinda and Elphaba? I know it was hinted a few times that Glinda felt more than platonic feelings towards her, and, obviously, the idea of them to me was positively endearing. __________________ Megan Hilty ![]() | |||

| I must be the only person on the planet who was absolutely disgusted with this book. I hated it. The only thing that it had in common with L Frank Baum's book(s) were the character names. I threw it away the second I was done reading it, and wished that I had never even wasted my money on it. __________________ ANTI BOOTH/BRENNAN....because...ICK!!!!! IT'S JUST PLAIN WRONG. | |||

| I adored the book...and the musical! I've read the book a couple times and everytime I read it I find something new and different about it that I like. It is certainly a strange read, but I felt like it was totall worth it. And still do. __________________ Hann avatar by youownmylove![]() Anna: Man, Tree Hill's got some drama. | |||

| I'm reading Wicked right now and I'm really enjoying it! ![]() I absolutley love the musical, so I must admit I was quite surprised when I started reading the book. I found out it's very different. Now I appreciate the book for what it is by itself, and I can't wait to finish it! __________________ Nikki Blonsky // celebrating 50,000 posts! Kay ಌ Team Blonsky ♦ Loves Christi ![]() | |||

| I love the Musical, but must say the book didn't meet my expectations. I didn't hate it by any means and am glad that I read it, but still it was a difficult book to read, at least for me. Some parts were very confusing. It is quite different than the musical though, I didn't expect that. __________________ .Hayley. Bella/Edward You bleed just to know you're alive. | |||

| It's funny because I had never heard that there was a musical of this book until after I had read it and now I'm just curious about it. I love how this version of the story turns the other perspective on its head and that it gives background on how Elphie came to be in her position. I have yet to read Son of a Wtich although I keep meaning too, I really just have far too many books on my list, but I hope to get to it sooner rather than later. __________________ Visit Privileged Chrissy(icon) | |||

| I went to a bookstore on Friday night and one of my friends recommended this book to me, so I purchased it. He seemed so excited about it that now I really want to read it. ![]() __________________ "Did you seriously just stamp your foot? | Ooh, yay! It's very interesting in how it spins the story, so very different from the classic version. I hope you like it! __________________ Visit Privileged Chrissy(icon) | |||
