When do you find the time to read?

Weekends? Vacations? Every day?

I'm in my fourth year of college with one left to go and I can't find time to read! I know it's hectic and I probably shouldn't have the time to read for pleasure but I want to know when do you guys read?

I want to know if some of you find the time between normal work/study days or if you just put it off until vacation.

Whenever I get a spare second. I even sometimes take a book with em to work and read during my breaks. So sometimes it's ten minutes here, fifteen minutes here. I try and read before bed everynight too. I make time before bed to read specifically.

During semester it is very difficult - usually only on the train which is two lots of 15 minutes per day. But over holidays I read whenever I can pretty much Usually in the evenings when my mother is watching TV and I've run out of stuff to do online And if it's not too late I'll take the book to bed with me.

I usually read in the evenings when my parents are watching boring things on TV. Sometimes I read during the day as well, depending on the amount of homework I've got. Can't live without picking up a book or magazine in a day!

When I was at school, I only read on weekends and very rarely at nights because I had so much homework/study to do that by the time I finished, I wasn't really in the reading mood.

But I'm on holidays atm, waiting to see if I got into uni or tafe, so I read pretty much every day It's nice to finally be able to read as much as I want without feeling guilty because I'm supposed to be doing something else.

When I was in school, I'd read while I was waiting for class to begin. I'd read at lunch while waiting for friends to join me. I'd also read for a few minutes right before bed. And it's bad of me to say, but I also read during my work study job.

I'm currently a freshman in college and am also finding a very difficult time with trying to read. I must have brought close to ten books just to read for my own but there's always something else to do or read. I am taking a lot of literature courses here to help out with that but it's still not the same. I think I will just have to wait for holiday break and summer breaks from now on to read what I want.

It's very hard for me to find any time to read, between uni and work.
The only spare time that I can get is late at night (when i finished everything else) or on the bus getting to work.

Usually, I read when laying in bed @ night. I try and get some reading in before that though.

I read here and there throughout the day, but then I don't work and I need something to keep my mind busy.

When I was in middle school and high school, I actually had a lot of time to read. In college though, I mostly read during vacations.

When I was in school I only found time to read during winter, spring and summer breaks.
Now I usually read on Sundays and I try to make some time every night to read before I go to bed, which is hard b/c after a long day at work I am really tired.
When I was a kid I was able to read everyday and therefore finish books faster. Now I find myslef still reading even a simple, average size book for months and months.

I usually find the time to read if I don't have any homework to do or when I am ready to go to sleep for the night. It makes me relaxed after a stressful day at either work or school.

However, during the summer I make time to read at all times of the day cause it is my favorite thing to do. I especially like to take a book w/ me on the beach, sit in my beach chair, and read.

Well, it really depends for me. If it's a book I've been dying to read for ages or it's a book that I'm really into, I'll usually drop everything to read it. I know, it's a really bad habit, but I just gotta read it! But, if it's any other book, I'll usually read that one in my spare time, like right before I go to bed.

I'm in my sophmore year of high school, working and an active member of Greek life on my campus so my schedule is kinda full and finding time to read has become more difficult than it was in high school.

What I've been doing lately is taking the book I am currently reading and carrying it around with me wherever I go. I usually get to my job about 10-20 minutes early (cause occasionally parking will suck or traffic will be bad so I leave super early) so I go into the back and spend those minutes reading. I also read during my half an hour breaks as I read (a trend that me and two other girls at my job have gotten into so there's almost always at least one book hanging around on the back counter)

And this may sound weird but I read at drive through sas I wait for my food. There are nighst that I'll work a five hour shift through dinner until 10/11 pm so I stop at a fast food place to grab something to eat. Cause it's so late i usually have about a five-ten minute wait for my order. So I just sit back in my car and read.

I'm an idiot and I start books the day before I have major tests. Not smart. But yeah, if I didn't do that, I wouldn't have much time to read, so I don't really regret it. Still, I tend to read a lot more during the summer.

I don't know what I'm going to do when I get to college. Supposedly art majors (and I want to double in English, too) already don't have time to sleep, so I don't know how I'm going to find time to read. But knowing me, I'm sure I'll figure something out.
